The key for the half throw/putt is to load up your hips slightly like when a boxer throws a hook. Then you just get full arm extension and really spin the disc. I play lots of short holes up to 225 with that shot.

Probably won't do a dedicated video so I can just answer a bit here. I just ask them to send me what I need. Contracts vary, mine is a guaranteed salary with potential for more if my sales go over, and then some other smaller bonus stuff. Plan is to continue to grind throughout the season, expectation is to not expect anything and just let the work I put in give me the results I deserve. Tha last question haha... The answer is never enough 😜😅
I think the end the bag practice round is better. Then the in the bag just throwing in a open field.. We now know how you personally use them and how the thought process on choosing that disc

You, or any pro, could easily charge $100-$125 to have someone tag along and play just a single round alongside you - providing feedback, line help, etc. You personally still get to play your round while getting paid to provide incredible feedback to the person tagging along. Just my two cents of course, would love to pick your brain on the game; like I said, I’m local in the area!

Ask Discraft if they can send you a First Run ESP Nuke, it may just be a myth, but I heard the First Runs, the plastic was a little different than what it is currently and they were a little more overstable. I have one that is beat to hell I got back when they were first released but it was my favorite disc. Now its a little to flippy but thats what 1000s of throws will do to it, lol! That's too bad about the two lost discs on that hole. Swan in AB's video threw an amazing shot on that hole with a Nuke...called it a flex. That guy has to be at least 940 rated.
Fully agree that a beat in overstable disc is better than a stock flippy disc. I think at some point the disc sort of “plateaus” in how beat in it can get to some level. A stock flippy disc can be great and then one tree hit will make it useless
23:50 this is my theory on Gannon obviously his long limbs help to generate more but he naturally developed his longer putt from having to generate more as a kid and now he has scaled his body size up but the course size has stayed the same so everything comes more effortlessly for him 🤷♂️💯

He led the Maricopa open for first two days last time I was down there. Playing mp 50. Beating everyone for two days. Finished third overall in score at the end. Say what’s up to him he holds more disc golf knowledge than most anyone you’ve ever met I’d say

Thats the only negative to disc golf growing, I understand going with a group, but you have to be aware of who is playing the course as well, because everyone’s time should be treated equally, If a faster player or group is stuck behind a slower group it just makes it worse for everyone involved
Instead of throwing multiple discs on every hole for "practice", wouldn't you get much more exercise (including the practice) playing multiple rounds throwing once :)?
Definitely would get more exercise. I'm trying to get the most practice with the least exercise though so really field work is the most efficient for me
