The War of Karak Eight Peaks was a complex conflict that involved lots of battles, twists and plots that would require a super super long video to go over it all. This is an overview episode. Zoe Moonlight technically a full lived Skaven can be 20 years, so it should be a century.
@@tomthestone1470 skaven elites lives around 10 years. Queek have 10 years and he said he is old and doesnt have to much time. Maybe a grey seer who have magic in his body last 20 . But the others 10 years is very old
CA should really add another level to Karak Eight Peaks. Perhaps make it so you have to siege it twice to fully claim it. First the upper level, then the lower one. Having it just as any other karak is blasphemous. In fact, ALL karaks should be sieged twice. How the hell do they even get through the mountain gates?
I hope one day they actually go back and do a Mini Campaign for it - throw in Gorfang Rotgut and an flc of either Red Fangs or Broken Tooth tribe. as well.
Even the most basic sieges are.. well basic. Couldn't expect them to make glorious karak sieges.
Warhammer 3 needs to make better sieges

@LN Orcs just have no priorities other than war and screwing over da stunties, and Karak Eight Peaks is a great place for both. As for Skaven. Well, Skaven tend to prefer infesting Dwarf Holds over digging their own, and Karak Eight Peaks is a massive, prime target for infestation. That's just why they got involved in the first place, now it's that Queek and Clan Mors don't want to show weakness by giving up what they've been allowed to claim as their seat of power and it's not like they give a shit if they lose hundreds of millions of rats doing it when the Skaven number in the trillions.

Also, it can be argued that the Steel Legion on Armageddon is more close to Staligrad in Warhammer 40k. The Death Korps of Krieg are more based around WW1.

i wish in total war warhammer there was a special campaign for karak eight peaks where we could play as belegar,skarsnik and queek and fight in karak eight peaks level by level,keep by keep,it would be the ultimate three way battle and just absolutely glorious.
in all honestly i like all 3 of them.

@@joaqincastro5613 skaven came from below even lower then the dwarves dug. Same with balr og came from the lower tunnels that even the drawves didnt build. I pretty sure they didnt get driven away but all slaughtered by the orcs and goblins and they are dreddfully scared of bal rog.

I still remember the tears in my grandfathers eyes when he spoke of this one great kingdom, and smile that my father had when ironhammer regain a foot hold in the great hols. This video worms my great stone heart as it shows me that it is possible for a thane to regain what was lost. And to make my ancestors proud I think it is time for me to retake what was stolen from me and settled a few long standing gauges.

They are from the first book in the Gotrek and Felix series. If I’m not mistaken they are specifically from “Trollslayer”.

Fun fact: the skavens created the time of woes. They just blew up skavenblight by trying to create a great number of new tunnel with the use of warpstones based magic, which caused their near extinction and massive cataclysms around the world. It was at this time that the Council of thirteen emerged from the temple of the Horned Rat, and decided to lead skavens in twelves differents directions, to form the skaven empire we know today

Just a critique here. in my opinion the guy who reads quotes from characters somewhat breaks the immersion (because he has a russian accent). don't get me wrong, i like that they're being uttered, but as far as i know dawi have guttural, deep and rough sounding voices, like what you usually hear in-game in tw:w. so if you want to quote characters, i suggest you do it well, because in my opinion not doing so breaks the immersion.

The Book of Choyer a good place to start for Dwarf accent is northern English, you should be able to work out different voice types from there

The undoing of the Dwarves is their failure to adapt and embrace new ideas. Their stubbornness has costed them everything time and time again.
This really makes me wish the crooked moon was its own faction pack, I don't think we will see a pure goblin army now.
They don't have to change much at all swap a few units, reskin a few more. get rid of black orcs and they are sweet!

Very well done! Best I have ever seen using the game engines to produce the cinematics. Curious what your PC setup is. Mine is good and looks very good but not that good at that framerate. That or you are very clever tweaking the number of models used and so on. Either way, impressive work!
