I'd make that small back room into added bath/laundry room and do away with the loft area over the living room to make all cathedral ceilings there. Also, maybe some shed dormers in the bed room... this is a perfect size cabin!

I really like this cabin. I love the fact that there is a shower and no bathtub. The price is very cheap. Considering the price, the cost of plumbing and electrical, plus the cost of relocating this cabin to a property and it would still be cheap compared to the cost of other homes. I think this cabin is perfect.
It's perfect, although I would switch the bathroom with the back empty room, that I'm assuming is for laundry. I'd also take out the catwalk upstairs and place a ladder to the 2nd loft area. Other then that, I love it!!

I'd do that also but incorporate the laundry into the bathroom with its own niche - using maybe a third of the former bathroom area added in - and then use the rest for a pantry.

Perhaps Linda needs to do something to acquire the land and cabin herself - new and better paying job, marry someone wealthy or become a televangelist, whatever. Just waiting for the invisible man in the sky doesn't seem to be yielding results. Certainly shouldn't listen to you.

Only thing I would change on this is putting a back door by the stairs that leads to a back porch/summer kitchen. Well, that and have it made of cedar.

$38,000 for a 3 bedroom house is quite the steal! Of course, it doesn't include installation on the land it's to be occupied, but that can't be too much in that area.

Don't forget you got to hook up water sewer and electric plus your foundation on your land and the cost of the cabin not that cheap

I don't think there is much storage in any of these cabins. You would have to create your own storage with shelves and such.

The homes the Amish live in usually don't have electricity or indoor plumbing, but the homes they sell do.
@@deutschlander2004 I was not aware of that. I was under the impression that the Amish do not use technology developed after a particular date - some time in the 1700s. There are, as far as I know, no Amish in my part of the world.

I accept that anyone should be allowed to live however they like as long as this doesn't harm others but to profit from what they seem to believe to immoral or otherwise wrong surprises me. Tested wood for bugs wiring and plumbing for same price. Or less they have a beautiful log cabin with porch on front and back quite large green home. For 53,000.00 sleeps 6 people , living room , dining room,kitchen, bathroom,, family room, 3bedrooms 1-2/2 story home really Bucephalus.

Don't like the cat walk. Rather not have bedrooms upstairs. Little room can't be good for anything but laundry which is a must. Or storage. Small office.

Amish will not allow you or anyone to use (amish) built,made ect. My father in law works directly with them in PA and they say the English are stealing from this way.
Um....no thanx.....can get a 2 bdrm/2ba ( 1 of each on each floor) and way more square footage using better wood for $41-$43k from Meadowlark.....should have paid no more than $20-$22k for that one, especially when most of it is pine.
I just checked out their site. Awesome cabins for a great price. One thing I'm confused about is on the website it gives a price for "pre-assembled." Do you know what that means?
