This looks so easy. I think I could easily make 1 for all 6 of my grandkids to wear at Christmas. They will love it and that's much faster to make than a sweater for each of them. This looks like I can easily make at least 1 of these a day where a sweater averages me at least 4 days to make.
Beautiful tutorial made 2 up to now for 2 of my grandchildren. Question my other grandchild is just over a year . What size should I do I was thinking 14" would that be big enough or go 15. Many thanks. X
Wonderful tutorial! I have one question: after row 3, at the end of each round, do I slip stitch, or I continue FBPDC-BPDC on the round without slip stitching? I hope my question is clear. Thank you for your time.
this is what i want to know . i keep getting gaping holes at every beginning before DC into all the stitches and idk WHY and the video doesn't go into detail or show it ugh!
I think you're supposed to slst into first stitch,ch1,dc around and then fpdc and bpdc all around for any amount of rows you like. (P.S. I know I'm like 3 years late, but I still wanted to respond to this comment to help anyone else who will be listing through comments in confusion.)
Measure the circumference of the head. Then make sure your starting chain is an EVEN number and is a multiple of 8. I hope this helps In the tutorial : 72 chains After the 2 rows of red yarn, she made the 7dc and dc2tog. That will be your basis. If your starting chain is 80 then ur use 8dc and dc2tog If 88 then 9dc and dc2tog. That's what I did. I already made 4 hats with different sizes.
If you want to learn I found Bella cocoa channel easy to follow wirh step by step instructions This pattern is easy for me cause I’ve been crocheting a long time I can see how it would be difficult for you as a beginner with the tutorial sped up Head over to Bella coco she does things slow and easy to follow xx
