PLEASE SHARE THIS VIDEO TO HELP SUPPORT MY CHANNEL!🧶💚
the coolest santa hat ive ever seen anywhere! will make this over the weekend. thank you
That was so sweet of you to say! I appreciate it! Have fun making it!🌱💚
Awesome pattern. A few hiccups in the video, but done very well. One thing I modified was the end of the bobble stitch in which after pulling through all 6 loops I did a slip stitch & then a single stitch in the next stitch. I skip that slip stitch in the following row to keep the count at 11. Adding the slip stitch closes the bobble better
Nifty! I’ll have to try that! Thank you for the tip and for taking the time to comment🌱💚
I loved this pattern! I made it last night after finishing my last christmas gift and your video was really easy to follow. I did slip stitch around the brim of the hat just to give it more of a finished look. I can’t wait to wear it to my family’s christmas party 🥰
Thank you so much! I’m glad you loved it and found it easy! You are going to be a hit at your party🌱💚
Thank you for this tutorial.....it was so simple and makes a great santa hat I'm making 3 of them right now
You’re welcome! 3?! That’s awesome!! I hope you have so much fun crocheting them🧶💚
Just finished mine! It was so easy to follow and came out soooo beautiful! THANK YOU!!! 🎅
You’re so welcome! Thank you for using my pattern! I’m happy you love it!🌱💚
I love this pattern! I'm new to crochet and I am able to follow along to your videos! Thank you so much!
Yayy! That makes me so happy to hear that! I hope you enjoy my tutorials🌱💚
I made this for a friend. It came out beautifully. I really wish you had worked with us to the end instead of the rapid abanonment. Thank you for a cute pattern.
I’m sorry you feel that way. Thank you for using my pattern. I hope your friend loves it!!🌱💚
Bobbles were a bit ruff to start, but it came out sooo sweet 😍
I’m happy you got the hang of it! Thank you for using my pattern🌱💚
How ADORABLE! Thank you for your clearly demonstrated video. I am definitely looking forward to making your Santa's hat. I especially appreciate your showing us how to make a straight seam when double crocheting in the round. I assume this also works for half double and single crochet?
Thank you so much for the lovely comment! I’m so glad you appreciated it all. When you work in “Rounds” you will get a slanted seam no matter what stitch you use. You can use my method with all stitches. You will have to just chain 1 instead of chaining 2 for smaller stitches also. I really hope you make it and let me know if you need any help! Have fun🤶🏼🎄🌱💚
❤
Hi there I love the bobbles!! How long is the white part supposed to be before we whip stitch it together? I know you said 72 rows but I used a different hook size
Welcome! I’m so glad you think so!🤶🏼Anywhere between 20-22 inches will fit almost every adult🌱💚
Do you have or sell a written pattern anywhere? I really like the look of this hat!
Unfortunately I do not. I only make free youtube tutorials🌱💚
Im confused were you say go back to your regualr hook after attaching the red. We were to change hooks?
I’m sorry you’re having trouble. You use your 5.25mm for the brim and for Round 1. Before starting Round 2, you switch to a 6.5mm. So, Round 1 is red yarn with the 5.25mm, Round 2 is red yarn with the 6.5mm. I hope that makes sense🌱🎄💚
@@crochetgardenrepeat yes do you use 6.5 for the whole red of the hat?
@crochetgardenrepeat I made one the other day using 5.5 for brim and top not knowing was to switch. Came out nice. Then rewatching video because request to make few for friends I noticed the switch of the hook. Thank you. Love the pattern
@@francesmartinez-ne8rr Yes, you use 6.5mm from Round 2-28 with the red. You can use the 5.5mm for the entire thing. I preferred the 6.5mm for the red because it helps the hat drape better instead of a stiff hat. Totally up to you! I hope everyone loves the hats made with love!!🌱💚
Could this be made big enough to become a chair cover?
Sure it could. The steps would all change though. I’ll have to work on a pattern and make a tutorial🌱💚
@@carrie-anncawthan5946 You’re welcome! Thank you for the idea!🌱💚
Love this but may i ask a question i have a 5 and 5.5 and 6 and 7 mm hooks which combo would u pick or should i go buy the 5.25 and 6.5
@@badasschingu I’m glad you love it! I would use the 5.5 and 6, it’ll be just fine🧶💚
Thanks for getting back I was thing that now im playing yarn chicken with my white yarn gotta get to michaels
I dont get the bubble arrangements..mine are on the straight line..why?..kudos to you .
I’m sorry you’re having trouble. I’m not quite understanding what you mean when you say your bobbles are on the straight line. Can you give me more details?
Hi there
The rows alternate between 3 bobbles, sc, 2 bobbles, sc.
On the first row, there are meant to be 3 bobbles (1sc, bobble st, 3sc, bobble st, 1sc = 11sts) then a row of 11 sc.
Then the next pattern is: 3sc l the bobble st, 3sc, bobble st, 3sc = 11sts. Again with a row of 11sc and then start all over again :)
I don’t get when u mean 72… do I make 72 more over and over and attach them together??
You are doing 72 total* rows. In the demonstration, I did rows 1-6 with you. So you would do rows 7-72 on your own. Does that make sense?🌱💚
@@minaaaaaamm Okay good! Let me know if you have trouble with anything else. Happy crocheting🌱💚
Is it a 5.25 or will a 5.5 work? That’s what my “I” hooks say “5.5”
It’s a 5.25 but I’m sure a 5.5 will be fine. Some hooks do that, I’m not sure why
This is by far the best looking santa hat and the tutorial was so easy to follow. Thank you so much for sharing.
With ❤️ from Sweden.
You’re welcome! Thank you for saying that, that means a lot! Happy crocheting🌱💚
