Hi, great video. I believe you have a ssh client built into Windows 10 and 11. So there is no need for putty anymore. Also, the "apt update" without a apt full-upgrade is also pointless. Plus Oinks scripts also does this.
Thanks for the info! I am a super n00b. I am pulling my info from many areas, hoping to put together a concise guide for viewers watching my content. I'll probably make another video and trim it down after I have run through it a few times.
that looked like it performs better than my 5600x. it starts off strong for like a minute then gets in the 100s. I wonder if it's because I have it heavily undervolted (0.625v) but with my boosts increased
Bom dia galera.
Not that I'm aware of, I believe you will need a farm of devices to do that. Check out @PaperClips channel, he's run several different types of hardware
o the good thing of this Orange Pi 5is that it can run without a monitor connected so it will consume less than a farm made out of smartphone like the galaxy a03 like many people do right?
Interesting. I lack Linux experience, so I use commands I found on discord and forums to get this running. I welcome anything to help optimize and simplify the process. Let me know your steps...
So I'm wondering what the average hash rate is a few of my phones are getting around 6 MHS hopefully this is getting considerably more
I have a pixel 6 which gets around 4.5MHs. My OrangePi is averaging 8.5 MHs 👍

hello, can you advise me, I can't find the orange pi 5 on ethernet, what should I do to get my ip address
love the dream machine , amazing video as usual :)
Glad you enjoyed it! I am Ubiquiti with everything :)
Would this be the same steps to set up a esp32 for mining?
i haven't tried, but i would imagine it is similar if the hardware is supported
@@CryptoJar is there anyway you can do a step by step set up? I have 1000 of them and would send 200 your way just for help
Also do you believe a 1000 esp32 verus coin mining would be worth it
Thank you! Mine is arriving Thursday
Perfect! Looking forward to your perspective on this miner
@@CryptoJar omg it was a nightmare for me to set up.
putty ? open it and then what ? my screen is different thatn yours be more correct if you make a video
Did you find the IP of your pi device?
yes but my putty shows totaly diffrerent than yours

1 Mhash is not very very efficient
if you install android on it can you then install the same mining app on it that you have on the phone ? can you test that out and post a video ?
I'd imagine that you could, but would also depend on the CPU. If it's not compatible it probably won't mine
I was able to get 7Mh/s from tablet S6 light. But it doesnt stay there for long. Probably some proccesses in the android doesnt let it.
Wow, that's nice... What is the average hash rate?
@@CryptoJar 3.5 - 4 Mh/s

Any chance you are going to do a tutorial on how to set up a verus node on an orange pi 5?
That's interesting 🤔
I'll look into it
How many mh/s you get with this device?
It spikes and drops a lot but I'm averaging about 8MHs
The total hashrate for orange pi 5 ?
you can get in the range of 4-6MHs, sometimes more
Very nice the mine is onderway
awesome! happy mining!
Do u have a telegram page
I don't use telegram

very very low, like a few cents a day with a single miner
