This is part 1 of the second episode of the short lived NBC game show "Your Number's Up", hosted by Nipsey Russell and assisted by Lee Menning. Gene Wood is the announcer.
Talk about discrepancies, they didn't post the number 1 on the last spin before the car and they had the champ spin even though he wasn't involved in the question.
One would think that Gene Wood only did shows for Goodson-Todman, considering that's what he mostly did. But I remember him for shows like this just as much as I remember him for Feud.
Wow, I was only 3 when I saw this. I was into the bonus round because of the giant telephone (of course a 3-year-old and game shows, and bright colors, and shapes were the norms).
The two choices of questions reminds me a lot of Twisters. Also, the three contestant podiums remind me of Three on a Match. Bob Stewart got great mileage out of all of his ideas for shows.
@MrMarcellolsilva He did Love Connection for three years, and also Win, Lose, or Draw. He also hosted a couple of shows which were taped in Canada, Anything You Can Do from 1971-1972, and Beat the Clock from 1972-1974.
I'm kinda curious of the people in the audience if some of them still have the same 4 digits of their phone number as of today, just out of curiousity.
I always love nipsey russell he makes me feel good with his poems.
I think Doug was also a contestant on Classic Concentration a few years later.
The 80s had so many game shows like this.
This is awesome, don't think I've ever seen an episode look this clear before!
He did that same poem on "Password Plus".
I Love Nipsey's Podium!
Thank you for posting this. The video/audio quality is amazing!
I like the game, it really deserves a revival.
Surprisingly never saw this game. Shame it didn't last.
If i revived this show I would call it "Secret Number".
Nipsey Russell is fun to watch in this vid. Also, I used to notice that he sounded like an old man even when he was young! Lol
Lee Menning looks a lot like Elaine Stewart from Gambit.
Nipsey-russell the poet lauret of television.

This show was good, I wonder why it was cancelled to fast. maybe Pyramid was competing with the show?
Is this Gene's only Bob Stewart game show
I was 24 years old when this came out.
@MrMarcellolsilva He did Love Connection for three years, and also Win, Lose, or Draw. He also hosted a couple of shows which were taped in Canada, Anything You Can Do from 1971-1972, and Beat the Clock from 1972-1974.
He also announced for Win,Lose,Or Draw too.
Im not sure if WHO-TV (Des Moines, IA) had this show or not.
@supersaver87 You're very welcome - glad you like it!
Hey, va1k, I've noticed that whenever the show comes out of commercial, there's no video, but there is audio. Was that due to the video transfer?
KPRC (Houston) didn't have the show.
Is this the only game show NOT a G-T production announced by Gene Wood, not counting Love Connection?
@heine71 I wonder if this was only intended to go 13 weeks which is why Lee was willing and able to do this.
I'm kinda curious of the people in the audience if some of them still have the same 4 digits of their phone number as of today, just out of curiousity.
GO GET'CHUR KEYS! I used to love this game!
I really did like that poem aobut the roosters.
@Tubewings never noticed that really, so I'm not sure.
Unlike his father's company, Sande Stewart's production company is NOT owned by Sony.
@pseudoplastico LOL! i didnt't notice that at first!
@johnissoevil Don't forget....
Bruuce Forsythe's hot Streak and Family Challenge, any others.
You wouldn't happen to be Geoff Edwards, would you?
