Oh wow the idea of a starter that is gentle and nice but suddenly the final evo is a berserk beast without people knowing beforehand is suuuuch a scary concept! The whole video abt it was terrifying, really well done!!!
What a wonderful collab between you and Faebae. I would love to see more cryptids being made into pokemon. All three of these lines were amazing. The Tamadama line has to be my favorite not just because of its concepts, but how it challenges the idea of how starters are deemed acceptable for use by trainers. We've had starters that have some destructive potential, but are still capable of being befriended. Even some of the more scarier pokemon like Gyarados and Hydreigon can show compassion if raised right. My main question with Tamandara is: what could compel it to attack its human family? What could override years of familial bonding to go wild by a broken twig? The ambiguity is why it's my favorite of the three lines. What's stopping other trained pokemon that are like Tamandara from going off the deep end over the mundane stuff?. Sorry for the long text, but I just wanted to say my piece. You both did an amazing job.
I so badly want a pokemon game where your job is to clean up Ultra Beasts who have escaped into the world like instead of 8 gyms its 8 ultra beasts who've grown way too powerful
Sacrifice the Tamadama line, weird phrasing. Also, why would the Aether Foundation have a dedicated sacrifice room unless they were planning on summoning something. Because sacrifices tend to go with summoning something, especially concerning cryptids and eldritch horrors
I think that "Sacrifice" is being used as another word for "Euthanize" When a dog or animal kills somebody, specially when its a sort of domestic animal (Dogs and Cats for instance) they are usually euthanized due to the threat and danger they pose to the people and other animals around them.

I think that it could be something with those eldritch frogs, they are both Grass type afterall.
It was fun to explore this line of thinking, and you hit the nail on the head, there’s a lot of complexity in this line!
