Honestly, I could slap this in after feeding the baby and by the time I’m done getting the kids and myself ready for the day…my hair would be curled. I think this is worth it, thanks for sharing!!
Oooh, pretty indeed. Definitely looks less damaging than using a curling iron, and way more comfortable than sleeping in rope-curl wraps. Gotta agree that it would be ideal if they were detachable so the 2nd side wasn't cooler before getting it wrapped. Because we all know that the wrapping process can take a while, especially for those of us with very long hair!
I wonder if it’s possible to cut it in half? It looks like it’s just a thin strip of plastic between the two sides & maybe it could just be easily snipped? Don’t hold me to that! It’s just what it looks like to me from watching her video and sneaking a peak at the link. 🫠
Thanks! This gave me an idea. I'll sew 2 tubes and fill them with rice. Like homemade heat pads that you put in the microwave. I'll be able to heat one tube at a time and I'll leave extra fabric ends to tie on top. I hope it works!
With low heat! Yes! It’s so cool and way safer on your hair than a curling iron. I can hold it in my hands and not burn myself ❤thank you for watching!!
Awesome video!! I had some heated hair rollers from years and they never worked but this looked promising so I watched your video and I am impressed!! This would be great while traveling and you could bring them into your hotel room, as long it has a microwave and do your hair in the morning without any worries. THANKS LAINEY😀
Happy early birthday to your granddaughter! This would be perfect for her age to use in the morning before school! Thank you for watching and for the comment!
I bought a set from Amazon and they are amazing!! Very easy and takes NO time at all. I just messily wrap my hair around and around as I can't braid to save my soul, haha! The second time I used them the tubes must have been touching as they burst in my microwave at only about 10 seconds into heating them so I trimmed them, put all the beads back in and burned the end to seal it. They are now TWO pieces and frankly, I like it better this way, haha!! Still, going to try to make my own, it'd be so simple!!
Well. I just came across this video in my google news feed & I jumped over to your YT channel as soon as video was done. I then watched 3 more videos & then hit your Subscribe button...& the bell...for all notifications...I then watched about 4 more videos & now decided to comment again. Now I'm looking for your using a scarf video for over night curls! I just let my hair grow out since wearing it pixie fish since the 80s...Its about 7" past shoulders...Time to learn some new ways of wearing it rather than just scrunchies on top of head. 😁👍
That’s amazing! I have some cute hairstyles on my channel that would be great for your length! Thank you for finding me and subscribing! Truly appreciate it 😊❤
Super cool. Do these curls last just as long as the headless overnight curls? What about if you wanted to sleep with it would it be less comfy compare to the robe curls? Thx ❤
It’s not flat like a robe tie but it is squishy, so it might not be bad! I’ll have to try that sometime! I would say the curls hold for the day but they would definitely need done again the next day ❤
I’m going to get one of these … I’m thinking to cut the top middle piece and make a hook or just do both sides individual with same heat temp. Thx Have a wonderful Christmas 🎄
IDK if I want to try that out to be honest. I mean, the concept is interesting, but it just feels like too much effort haha. But they look amazing on you, Lainey!
laineymariebeauty can u make a video for Christmas/New years hairstyles it would be super helpful because I have no idea what to do with my hair this Christmas/New Year
My hair doesn’t hold a curl. What would recommend? Hair spray makes it necessary to shampoo sooner. My hair is thin , fine and long. It is textured and has its own wonky wave meaning it’s not straight hair.
Sometimes when my hair doesn’t hold a curl, it’s due to product build up. I use a clarifying shampoo and that always helps! Have you tried using a styling product after you wash it? My hair always holds a curl best when it’s somewhat dirty. ❤
Just test your hair like i did.. day 1 after washing was too soon to hold all day.. i had to wait till day 2 night to sleep in.. yay. Held all day.. guess too clean hair won't hold. It had to build up a little oil, which my hair is natural oily. I don't use anything on my hair... so maybe curl definition cream when you wrap it in the curlers
Use a salon quality setting lotion or mousse in your hair if your hair doesn't hold a curl typically. Hair spray before AND after you comb through the curls with your fingers!! I have these, they work AWESOME, even without mousse or setting lotion in my hair but I have natural wave and fine hair. Good Luck!!! I am going to try to make my own soon!!
this worked so well! have a wonderful and restful christmas whatever you’re doing and tysm for everything u do for us, i don’t know what i would do without your vids 🫶🏼
Oh I adore Amazon but! When something is “hot” some seller charges outrageously. I found a shampoo & conditioner recommended to me on Amazon. Seller wanted 98$ and Sephora had it for 56. I was so stunned it didn’t dawn on me to look elsewhere for a couple days. Im a super Amazon fan but I check for fair prices. Just sayin’.
@@Donna-cc1kt this is on Etsy! Not Amazon. I agree though. Amazon marks a lot of things up. I bought my kids a big monster truck on Amazon for $26 and found it a week later in store for $9.99!!
Not heatless but not nearly as hot as a curling iron. ❤i can hold onto the hot curler without any trouble, so if it doesn’t burn my hand then it’s not burning my hair!
I know when my daughter was in Girl Scouts they made neck warmers by putting rice in a sock and microwaving it. So that’s what I was thinking of. But now I think you would have to make a cloth tube (or maybe a men’s skinny tie from 1984)and fill it with rice or something similar that would be microwave safe. The more I think about actually doing it, it sounds like a pain in the butt and it would be easier to just buy the one in the video. Lol 😂
You paid 39$for that? OMG I use a hair band and wrap my hair around and secure it, sleep with and next morning you have beautiful curls. And you only need a hairband spray some moisture on it use a hairdryer 10 min 2 times with a bit cooling of a d you ready to go. I wouldn't pay for that honestly
This is a safer option for your hair than a curling iron and works for those who don’t like sleeping in overnight curls or maybe forgot to sleep in them. It only takes a minute to warm up, 3-5 minutes to wrap them and then waiting 45 minutes-an hour to take them out. You could wrap them at home then take them out before you go into work. The options are endless! ❤
I think after a few times it will go faster and it takes me 45 minutes to brush, skin care, makeup, feed the dog, birds, squirrels, drink coffee and get dressed. If I can curl it up in 5 minutes, after practice, then that’s all the time it took. I suspect you have beautiful hair to start with and I envy you. Some folk just don’t need it. Im not one of them lol.
OMG! Thank you so so much for featuring our GelCurler. So obsessed with the result! ✨
Honestly, I could slap this in after feeding the baby and by the time I’m done getting the kids and myself ready for the day…my hair would be curled. I think this is worth it, thanks for sharing!!
Yes!!! The options for this things are endless. It’s seriously so cool! Thanks for the comment ❤
Yall really don't know ish😂😂😂😂 says it all
You can re-warm the gel using a hair dryer when it’s in your hair
Love that u smelled it right out of the box. I do same 😂❤

I was shocked!!! ❤

Definitely for someone who doesn’t like to sleep in heartless curls or forgot to and needs something quick! Thank you for watching 😊❤
Do you avoid brushing your hair after removing the curler? Do you use hairspray or any kind of product afterwards to keep the curls?
This might work on my fine straight hair without the tossing and turning all night heatless curls cause me.
I hope it does!! It’s such a cool concept!❤

Are you supposed to put the cover on the plastic before using it?
Well I don’t have a microwave 😂 so I would have to go the old fashion way and sleep -to-curl!! But the results here were great!! 😊
