- Today I decided to rank some Nintendo Switch games from an S Rank to an F Rank. There's a lot of Switch games out there, and lots of new Switch games, but what games are worth buying and what ones should you avoid? Let's find out in this list!

Nintendo needs to lower prices and expand their game library. They have too many $60 games that are either old or ported from Wii U .. All anyone talks about is zelda Breath of the wild and Mario oddysee (not new titles/2017!!).. everything else is just ok or ported from Wii U.. They should have a lot more/better titles by now

Fire Emblem Three Houses has become an S rank. I bought it never playing a Fire Emblem game and not a fan of tactics RPG games. And wow... 40 hours in and I feel I just scratched the surface. Love the school setting and that mixed with the RPG and relationships makes me love this game so much.

Tesla Volta Games true. It has that persona vibes for the exploration stuffs and relationships. The story itself is really well written...

I’m 25 hours into Three Houses and it’s definitely is an S for me. I also love the battle system, but the micromanagement really hooked me. I love it!

Punch out seems to have the same hard time that Star Fox does aka how do you make a new one as good as the old one? It’s is oddly one of the few games that I feel has not gotten better sequels. The NES version blows away all of the punch outs that have come out since.

Donkey Kong is S-rank, for sure! Price aside, that game IS the best pure 2D platformer!

I love the dkc series. I never owned a Wii u so I only got a chance to play tropical freeze after it finally came to switch. I enjoy collecting those jigsaw pieces and I love the addition of Funky with his surfboard

The reason why he didn't give it an S is there, and is consistent with the other games. If it is a port and full price, it won't be an S. Don't say I agree, but it makes sense in his ranking.
Super Mario Odyssey was absolutely amazing. Quite possibly my favourite game on the Switch too.
The Mario 64 background music brought back so many memories and I hope they remaster it on Nintendo switch

I love how quickly you go through the games. Normally in these types of videos I skip go the games I care about since they spent an hour to talk about each game
This was a good list. I was a bit disappointed with the placement of Super Mario Bros. but understand it is an expensive game that doesnt provide anything new. Keep it up. This was an interesting video I'd like to see more of.

Honestly I'm sick of Nintendo pushing out these old ports of games. Yeah it's cool to have some nostalgia but seriously like most of the titles they've released have been ports from either Wii U or 3DS. They need to put out more original Switch titles imo.
Honestly...I mean the only port that I am really wanting is super mario 3d world...that's one of the best mario games I have ever played and to me, it beats out odyssey...sorry not sorry lol.

Travis Strikes Again is a C or B tier game if you’re a fan of the series and the genre. Once you start unlocking new moves it just became fun, decent replay ability too and the co-op was fun.

FE Three Houses has got to be an S game. 10 hours is too short to judge it, but i think you'll change your mind after you finish a house
Matt Vang true, after I finished one i had planned to use it as a good stopping place, but no, I just had to start another route, I had to know more of the story.
I disagree, no one should have to play over 10 hours of a game to judge it. If he isn't hooked after 10 hours the game is simply not for him.
Chill Spirit Big disagree, that’s like reading a book and stopping 5 chapters in to give it a ranking. Like if you aren’t hooked that’s fine but unless you finish it you can’t really rank it accurately that’s just common sense

@Joel Johnson it's better than playing the same generic COD game every year. In my opinion it kind of went downhill after Black ops 2.
Definitely need FE3H higher up.
You can skip the micromanaging of daily aspects at the Monastery. It's not a requirement. Same with teaching.
If you skip that stuff your missing character growth and missing 60% of the game. Dont lie.
Mr.Game&Rant not really, instead of teaching, u can spend most of ur time grinding and levelling up ur units wen u fight, some fights don’t take activity points, so not only will u level up ur units but also the weapon they use will also level up as they kill with it. Sure the teaching is a more fast way to do it, but it’s not entirely essential, but it is a gd chunk of the game
Mr.Game&Rant n let’s say u do beat the game, sure u didn’t recruit a lot of ppl, but there’s a reason y save file + is a thing for ur next route, I used my first route to get use to the feeling and such, recruiting ppl wasn’t really an need for me, but with my save file plus I’m able to broaden wat I’m able to do, and easily.
Azash 1974 if you play hard mode you don’t get any battles that are free that’s only for normal mode
Ron Anavi n also Yh, I meant it towards a normal aspect, since the game was reviewed by someone who doesn’t play fire emblem, normal is be the first thing to play, I mean there isn’t really a short cut in hard, emphasis on hard being, well more difficult and it’s gonna defo take time n patience
What convinced me to buy a Switch was Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate and Octopath Traveler.

As much as I loved New Super Mario Bros on WiiU and would love to have the Switch version, I agree with you that the $60 price point is definitely a little much. If we could get that price down to around $30 we'd have either B or maybe A rank material on our hands.

Steven Moultrie I would like it to be a little harder, but I understand why it is so easy; it’s a game targered to kids that play with their dads, so it shouldn’t be hard.
PD: I have always love kirby, so even if there’s no challenge, as long as I can eat the enemies, I am fine with it.

Fire Emblem Three Houses should be an A minimum. And that’s from somebody who is brand new to the series. What a game. I think Super Mario Party should have been ranked a little higher.

Shockwave Syndrome Star allies is such a basic Kirby game. It fails to live up to planet robobots and triple deluxe and is just uninteresting.
I think it’s funny that people say that there is nothing different in New Super Mario Bros. U. It was the first side scrolling Mario game with 4 player co-op with everyone onscreen at the same time and it was fantastic! I think maybe those people who say that only played it in single player...
And the air jump twizzle makes it fun to master.
First off, you could do that in 2009 Mario Bros Wii from 2009. And also, this game brought nothing new, maybe when it came out in 2012, but definitely not 6 years later on the switch, it's the same game. Why didn't they make a new one, Nintendo disappointed me with this port.and spat in Wii U owners' faces. At least Mario kart 8 deluxe had all the dlc and new battle modes included...

Fire emblem 3 houses is at least an A tier game. Once you get use to how the monastery works and know where things are you get kind of hooked to the gameplay and character interactions as well.

Xenoblade 2 and fire emblem are the best switch games. Mario for 3
I love both Xenoblade 2 and FE3H, but Xenoblade a bit more.
The main issue from Xenoblade 2 is how the game start, until you unlock your action bar ability it is quite lame to play which is why it is hard to give it higher than B for many people.
Never seen worse graphics then xenoblade 2. Sold it after 10 hours of eye cancer

Only Zelda Breath of the Wild is S rank. I played Skyrim and Ys Viii only on Switch and for me they are the best after Zelda.

Allen Bocephus people can like and dislike whatever games they want. I personally don’t like Fire emblem, but that doesn’t mean I think it’s a terrible game. It’s a great game, it just isn’t made for some people, me being one of them.

2. Super Mario Kart 8 - the definitive Switch multiplayer experience, and perhaps the best local multiplayer game ever released on a console not named "Wii"

I owned new super mario u on wii u for some time but never felt interested in playing it because pictures from it looked too similar to the other new mario 2d games. I finally played it recently and I think it's an amazing game. Graphics might be similar but it's so much better than the others. It feels to me like the spiritual successor of super mario world. It's really underrated

I really don't understand the hate for Travis Strikes Again No More Heroes. It's not perfect BUT
I have 55+ Hours and I'm really loving it, it's a love letter to the suda 51 fans.
Its repetitive just like Marvel Alliance. Its game play is kinda like MA. He called it No More Heroes 3, so maybe he was expecting a sequel instead of a spinoff. I liked TSA because I was looking for a fun hack n slash that you can pickup and play without much thought. It was kind of like SmashTV with a lightsaber. Looking forward to NMH3.
Totally agree, PDA S. I completed Travis’ story recently and am playing through again with Badman. Very underrated.

People were mad about how it's not NMH3 and how they thought 3 wouldn't happen if TSA sold badly because Suda worded something wierdly.
The game itself is pretty good though, somehow I got 105 hours in it and beat it once over with each character.

As soon as I picked up Octopath Traveler every other game actually every other system I own all got pushed aside for this game Octopath Traveler is an amazing game

Tropical Freeze sometimes goes on sale for $30. It is a great deal on sale. Wish this game was $45 normally then you could recommend it. It's a great game!
