    Excellent video from a sensible man for once instead of talking to the viewer like a kid's TV presenter. Very useful. I've gone for the 30kw.

      We've never been called sensible before but we'll take it. Glad you found the video useful!

    I have this boiler, 8000 style. I would like to know if anyone has the same issue as me.
    The hot water on full (9 l/m) the boiler fires up but goes off due to high water temperature and then back on again, outlet water temperature takes about 3 minutes before the boiler settles down and delivers a steady temperature. Bosch have even changed the boiler and have now given up on me to fix the issue.

    Really hope you do a shootout between the 8000 vs. Viessmann 200W vs. Vaillant Eco Tec+

    New installation + 100 quid every year on servicing to keep the warranty.

    How can it be a premium product with plastic manifolds and an aluminium heat exchanger

    Hi , I’m about to Purchase a 3 story , 3 bedroom house , with 1 large bathroom and 2 smaller shower rooms on suites so total 3 bathrooms , and around 14 radiators , would this be suitable ? The boiler location is ground floor

      Hi Jon, yes this should be suitable for your home but it does depend on what your cold flow rate is whether or not you can run two showers at the same time.

    Will the 50kw boiler be sufficient for a household with 4 individuals with 5 rooms and 4 bathroom. Assuming at peak 2 bathrooms, heating and kitchen hot water is in use. WE have underfloor wet heating on the ground floor and radiators everywhere else. Thank for the video.

      Hi Alwahaz, thanks for your comment! If you have a good cold pressure (16 litres and above a minute) then you can run two showers at once. If you've got low pressure, then increasing the KW's doesn't allow you to run two showers at once. Hope this helps!

      the domestic system hydraulic dynamic loss from cold to hot water flow rate would on average reduce by minus 4 L/min, so if the boiler gives a max of 12 L/min, then the cold should really be above 16 L/min (based on DHW @ 12 L/min) if you are looking to use 2 bathrooms at peak times (based on showers), then each shower will have its own flow rate, so as an example, if the two showers require 5 L/min hot each and 6 L/min cold each (total hot water flow 10 L/min and cold 12 L/min so, 10 L/min hot + 4 Dynamic loss + 12 cold = total 26 L / min @ max output) "as a guide only other factors may/will need to be considered", it is always best to consult with the installer / Heatable specialist / Manufacture for further guidance.

    Hi is greenstar 8000 35kw enough for a 3 bed house with 2 showers and 9 heaters?

    • @dazl7954
      @dazl7954 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      depends on your cold water flow rate

    • @Heatable
      @Heatable  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Dayana, yes based on a detached 3 bedroom home with that information, we would suggest the Worcester Bosch Greenstar 8000 - 35kw!
