I read your comment a few days ago. I was like that's a great idea! Then checked, and I had already deleted episode 1 after recording a short intro to post on episode 1 for the other channel. I will be making some kind of announcement. I've just been behind schedule recently.
You can actually set everything to Imperial measurement except distance, which can be set to meters or yards to tell how long you can make your trains. I personally use all Imperial and yards, and since a meter is slightly longer than a yard it is easy to tell. 120m station I build slightly less than 120 yard trains.

People will say America's measurement system is Imperial; but it's more precisely called U.S. Customary System.
