I bought mine brand new summer of 2017, 6speed, and still have it and love it! I’ve never had one issue with this car and she’s very zippy… my favorite car to date🥰.
0:13 - Not the MK6 GTI Engine. The 2012-2013 GLI had the gen2 EA888 2.0T from the MK6 GTI, however from late 2013 onwards the GLI switched to the much more reliable gen3 EA888 2.0T as found in the MK7 GTI. This being a MY2017, it has the gen3 motor from the MK7 GTI.
@Thegamer I actually did end up buying it haha. I finished fixing the problems with my 2013 Jetta S and sold it and made some money back so it worked out pretty good. Stage 2 Unitronic ECU and DSG, Integrated Engineering CAI with SAI, CTS charge pipes, 3” CTS downpipe with high flow cat with AWE Track exhaust, GFB diverter valve plus, new dogbone mount, Evo Digital boost gauge, H&R super sport springs, 18x8.5 Rotiform BLQ’s in red, ECS front lip, 5% all the way around, and I’m sure I’m missing something, but it’s such a massive upgrade from my previous Jetta and I’ve loved it ever since man
@Thegamer hoping to get some upgraded suspension stuff and make the ride a bit better, intercooler soon hopefully, and apparently they rip with the MK7 hpfp even on the Ko3 so we’ll see what happens in the future. I have a boring start up video on my page
Hello, I am a viewer living in Korea. I am operating the 2016 vw jetta mk6 facelift 2.0 tdi premium model. I am looking for a genuine spring exclusively for gli, but it is difficult to know the item number of genuine parts because the 2016 vw jetta gli model is not imported to our country. I asked the service center and they said if i check the overseas gli's VIN, they can check the item number of springs, so I need the VIN of the 2015-2016 vw jetta mk6 facelift gli model.. If you don't mind, can I ask you to check the your gli's VIN? Don't worry, I won't use it for anything other than checking the item number. plz, i'm in desperate need of item number of springs.
Is it normal for my car to only start when I press the break in I jus bougbt one today and the green light stays on while in park but it won’t start unless my foots on brake
@gohantaro Wtf are u talking about. 210hp for a car that weighs 3100 pounds is not bad at all. I have a 2014 manual and even when it was stock I was still gapping mfs.

That is completely normal. Almost every car is like that now. It is a safety feature to make sure the car doesn't move when you start it up.
Does the gli have a wet or dry clutch? DCT transmission of course
Wet clutch for all the GLI's !!
How much that Jetta cost?

@@lsx5221 the 210hp does get up and go, but a tune makes it a whole different animal. Just went Stage 1 on my 2017 and it's a blast
