What were your tolerances between the slider and the railing? 1 MM ?
Glad you like this design but i'm not the original creator of this model. However, based on the measurement in fusion 360, the slots have a height of 1.6mm vs the slider of 0.4mm. The width of the slot is 45.75mm vs the slider of 44mm. I sprayed a bit of silicone lube and that made it a lot smoother to operate. I am looking forward to your remix as that will be a very cool case for spectacles.

Very cool one, what material did you use for the slide?
It's PLA. It's thin enough that it's bendable around the slot.
