It is always best to label all your male and female connectors before disconnecting the plugs. This will help avoid confusion and mismatching the plugs. If you prefer not to label, do one harness at a time like when you change your plugs.
Are the both upstream sensors the exact same? On the hunt for a O2 sensor for my P2234 code which is the bank 2, but it’s pretty overwhelming to figure which to buy. Your connectors are the same as mine. Sites say front and back upstream. I saw you had 2 fronts of the same and 2 backs the same as well referring to the boxes you pictured.
@ 0:32 ... the post cat sensors are not the same for the later e46s (post 3/2003 production with ms45.1). I suspect its only the wiring connectors that are different, but dont know for sure.
Ok so i have an 05 325xi. How am i supposed to know which sensor it needs either post or pre cat? Plus im seeing vids where u gota get under the car to replace.
Is it just me or is your bank 1 and bank 2 labeling wrong, I thought bank 2 was the one towards the right (hardest to remove) and bank 1 was the left one (more easily accessible one)? Can someone confirm and clarify?
Hans garage never disappoints! This is my go to source for awesome real BMW videos. I saw this guy drop an E36 Transmission on flip flops!

Can you provide a link to the tool(s) you used to remove bank 2 post cat o2 sensor ? They are impossible to remove without the right tool.

Nice video as always Han! Did you notice a positive change in your fuel trims? Also, has your mpg increased?
I cant tell any improvements significantly but at least I dont have the check engine light ha!
@@HansGarage LMAO! Nice one!
What was the code? @@HansGarage
Very unrelated question, but I just discovered your channel. Came here from the airbag code clearing video. Have you messed with BMW seatbelt before ?
I have not. Only the side airbag for window regulators
Where did you get the tool to help you unscrew the sensors? 😅
Amazon lol
So I buy 2 of the same upstream and 2 of the same downstream or is each individual sensor different
same part number as shown
