I have a bumper mounted swing out carrier that I use when I need maximum storage for camping gear. The tire carrier portion is fairly easily removed. I want to build an elevated aluminum platform that sits on top of the wheel wells and up against the back of the front seats when I'm doing day-trip trails. p.s. the pin that was removed on Harley's TJ also keeps the tire carrier from swinging closed when parked on a slope
How do you find lifting a 35" /37" tire onto either carrier by yourself...do you have any tips / tricks to make it easier 🤔 Couldn't imagine trying to muscle a 40" tire up on the carrier 😮 Perhaps make a future video of mounting a 35" / 37" tire onto one of these carriers ...especially by yourself on a trail / side of the road with no engine lift etc to aid in the lift .
I have the smitty built xrc and I don't like the same things that you mentioned, it's the multiple steps to open. I have looked at the Rusty's before and it looks like a much better deal.
yall didnt cover all of them. I have the genright body carrier. Love it!
I’m looking at the RockHard 4x4 carrier and rear bumper. I just received their Legendary front bumper
Nice
Looks like those are some solid tire carriers.

I’m going to be building a aluminum platform as well. I need to leave room for one dog so that going to stop me from straddling the wheel wells.

Just saying don’t feed your pets purina dog food. Just had to put my girl down due to poison in the food
I’ve heard of that happening, sorry for your loss.
