He avoided getting tunnel vision on de-capping the fortified sacred sites and instead pushed straight through the middle, forcing Corvinus to commit his army outside of the range of his own keeps. After one good fight, Valdemar could de-cap at his leisure, and even then the match was already decided. Good game and good cast!
Correction- you can't guarantee a win by going first in Connect 4, but you can guarantee that you don't lose (in other words, you can at worst force a tie).

Question: why are pro-players not utilising „attack a position“ with their manganel and chose it e.g. right behind a mass to anticipate where they will be instead of where they are !?

the third tc was so fast because he didnt actually build the second one until he had resources for the third...
