    Thanks Jesse. This is the first video that I have seen on how a gigging musician uses the Aeros and BeatBuddy and how they set it up. We need more of these types of videos

    I appreciate you putting this together and letting us know how you use it effectively. I would be interested in seeing more detail on building the loops in Aeros to include the system settings and then integrating the whole thing with Beat Buddy. Just my idea. Thanks again!

    Really enjoying my Aeros, Beat Buddy and Maestro but still need to use other gear to get the job done due to absence of song file input, no fading, etc. It’s come a long way but I am hopeful that the next update will be a big one.
    Mainly use it for backing tracks that I can add to live. It has been a great songwriting tool for a quick idea.

    Great Video. Is mic'd amp tone going to a mixer? Looks like Beat Buddy is connected to Aeros AuxIn, and Line out/Octave chain is going into Aeros input. How do you adjust mic'd amp tone along with the 2 channels shown on the Aeros (Beat Buddy and Line out). I just received my Aeros after being a BB owner for years. Thanks!

    • @SingularSoundOfficial
      @SingularSoundOfficial  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We recorded the amp separately using a mic and then mixed it together. The BeatBuddy had it own independent mono channel into our recording device, so we can have independence of each channel coming in.

    It's all great and I really like my BeatBuddy, but as a solo artist who has a set list on the BeatBuddy pedal, I'm interested in how to combine and tune it with the Aeros pedal? Is there a tutorial for that besides the manual?

    • @SingularSoundOfficial
      @SingularSoundOfficial  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you for this question. You can use the Onsong app to recall your set list using song control messages based on what song you open. We have plans to have this new feature in the next BB firmware release. Feel free to join our forum to learn more about this topic.

    6:19 You mention that you go from the pedalboard into the amp, but then you say you're bypassing the pedalboard coming out of the back of the amp for the bass sound. So are you coming out of the guitar straight into the amp and then the pedalboard is on an effects loop of the amp?

    • @JesseRiccamusic
      @JesseRiccamusic 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      So I'm putting the pedals in the front of the amp and using the direct out on the back of the amp to send a signal to the octave pedal and Areos. It gives the octave pedal a super-clean signal which sounds better.

    You demonstrate creating a track. I assume during a Gig your are not going to lay down bass & rhythm guitar live for each tune. Are you then storing songs on the Aeros to call up during the Gig?

    • @SingularSoundOfficial
      @SingularSoundOfficial  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey there, live looping, where you show how you are creating each track layer live, can be very interesting for audiences to watch! But you do have the option to create your tracks before hand by just saving them to your Aeros or to an SD card. Be sure to create an album for your set so you can change to the next song hands free using the slide out menu! (You get to the slide out menu by holding down the bottom right footswitch when the song is paused/stopped.)

  • @theplayers3507
    @theplayers3507 ปีที่แล้ว

    I'm assuming at a gig you are running a pa board for a vocal Mic, the amp Mic, the aeros out, and a final channel for the beat buddy? And when you record your bass part, all the board pedals are simply off? Also I'm not familiar with the BB being connected to the Looper? I mean, do you record the drumbeat onto a loop track and then use that, or do you loop just other parts and the BB is the drum source? How do you sync the Looper with the drums?

    • @SingularSoundOfficial
      @SingularSoundOfficial  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey there, The aeros and BeatBuddy sync via MIDI, so you'll need our MIDI breakout cable in addition to a 5-pin DIN MIDI cable.

    • @SingularSoundOfficial
      @SingularSoundOfficial  ปีที่แล้ว

      Both of these cables can be found on our website! singularsound.com

    Where is the Beatbuddy in the chain? Is the Aeros controlling or the Beatbuddy?

    • @SingularSoundOfficial
      @SingularSoundOfficial  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The BeatBuddy is controlling the Aeros and both units are send to independent outputs. This way you can have better control of the drums and your loops volume.

    Does the beatbuddy have any dubstep drum kits?

      The BeatBuddy comes with a Techno and Ethereal drum kit. Dubstep drum kit sounds interesting. Feel free to sign up to our forum to download additional drum kits made by the community.
