These videos are quite helpful...thanks! For future vids, please consider running the VO through a 'declick' plug like izotope ozone's 5 declick...also consider turning the music down or off. The mouth-noise is easy to remove and music behind training vids doesn't always work. Both are distracting.
I've been trying to pan the toms of our drums but it doesn't work. The encoder shows its panned but the on the FOH the toms remain centred. Is it a problem with the master out or what could be the issue? I will really appreciate help. Thanks
Hello Joel, Perhaps you have PAFL selected. If you PAFL a tom channel, the PAFL meters will show signal on L and R. This is because you are pre-fade listening to a mono channel - listening to the signal before the pan control. De-selact all PAFL. The LR channel meters should show the signal more on L or R depending on where you are panning. Press the OUTPUTS menu button under the screen and check that the XLR sockets that you are listening to are assigned to MAIN L and MAIN R. Perhaps they are assigned to a mono group. If that isn't the problem, please email us at support@allen-heath.com. All the best.
