    I was trying to figure out Photon workshop for my mono x, saw your video about lychee and tried both in parallel. Man these videos were a great help, I'll be using lychee from now on !

    Hi Michael, when you went through your slices at 1:00 it looked like you had no holes in that skull, ending up with quite a big inverted cup. You're probably aware (and I haven't watched the prior vids) but from what I understand that creates a fair risk of pulling your print off the plate or at least stretching/delamination as the print progresses. Imagine lifting an inverted glass filled with water - that suction effect that holds it to the table does the same for the print on the film. You can adde a subtle hole behind/below the skull where it won't be so niticeable, and air/resin can flow in and out as the print lifts off the film. Afaik Nfep film helps reduce the pressure/suction problem as well.

    Hi Michael, thx for these informations - i learned some additional stuff!
    But there is a problem i have with the shown printing time and resin volume needed after slicing my models with Lychee. All is fine - even the result but both, printing time and resin volume, are shown up to 20% less than needed in real. I have an Anycubic Photon Mono X and all the settings are set in best ways. So what´s the problem...??!

    What’s your best advice for hollowing? I try it and always fail, if I don’t hollow perfect prints

      Sure, just format it FAT32, and I believe the USB Drive files can be downloaded from Elegoo www.reddit.com/r/ElegooMars/comments/ehgt6o/can_i_use_my_own_usb_stick/

      @@MichaelPavlovich Ok, awesome. Thank you so much. I use to use chitibox and that one I had to download a whole need firmware. Just want to make sure! Also does lychee work with STL files only or CBT?

    • @MichaelPavlovich
      @MichaelPavlovich  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@abrilgonzalez5881 You can drag and drop STL files into Lychee no problem, and/or export files from Lychee as an STL, in either File > Export, or while you're in the Export workflow in Lychee, you can Export 3D as an STL file if you need to (like in this video th-cam.com/video/fHTFeVIf_AU/w-d-xo.html )
