And sometimes they're in the same key and can be made into a mashup effortlessly. I heard this and found myself singing "bow down overdweller", until I heard it had shiny new lyrics.
Under The Weight form FFXIV was insane too. Only one that comes close to it is Fiend from Sephirot. Though we also have Otherworld from FFX. Final Fantasy knows that it's not all light harps and crystal music, they can rock your face off!
This song is so badass. It also has the sound of Devil May Cry 3 which made me even more pumped up. They did an absolutely crazy job on these boss battles because every Boss battle feels so unique and with their new combat system it just is an absoluetly amazing experience from the beginning to the end of the game. Finally a game that is really worth its money
@@402bigjohnson indeed. Idk but I may even go that far and say 1000$ for this experience is a bit too much, but still worth. Games like these make story games so valuable I wish every company would make an example of it and bring the same work and effort as FF16 did
it's honestly really cool to hear Clive's distorted echo-y voice so clear because of how much is going on in the actual fight, it can be hard to hear. Thank you for this beautiful edit!
When the full FF16 soundtrack comes out, I need an HQ version of this video, I literally can't listen to this song without my "heads up Hugo" and "One last time" parts I LOVE THIS!
awesome! on a side comment if you combine this clip with undefeatable from sonic, sincing the clip with the moment ifrit is on screen the song says "GO!" it flows so perfectly as if they were made for each other
This one, Typhon, Bahamut, the Necrophobe and Sleipnir just hit different All boss battles were great but these specifically where in a whole another level
@@kaz7886 hey listen, I played the demo on my 1660 and, yes I had to put it all on low but the game still looked great and I had a consistent 40-60 fps
@@Jargon.5 That's what happened to me as well. The demo ran above 60. The full game does not, and i ran the demo at Medium. I am playing at Low and i get 30-40 fps with a 2060. The problem is VRAM, if a gpu has 8, it will work better, mine has 6GB of VRAM.
Goddamn, there should've been more songs like that in the game, I don't mean it like Soken didn't make phenomenal orchestral tracks, but they all blend together after a time, and when this started playing I literally sat up and went to turn up the volume, cause it slaps. Honestly, this game was made by Yoshi P, and he didn't want to put in some amazing J rock songs like Endwalker or Dawntrail? Seems like a missed opportunity, I would've loved to kick Ultima's ass with some Endwalker-type beat playing in the background.
This game is awesome but would have been about a million times better if it was on the rails the entire time. The only reason I have not already replayed was the pacing is just brutal.
@@Mugenko Yes "on the rails" is a term in older games that pre-date all these open world type games. It means you don't really explore or decide where to go, you stay on the rails of the train, you cant go anywhere you want instead the game directs you where to go. All of the "Stages" in the game are on the rails you cant leave during them, go shop, do side quests, you are forced to go a specific direction and do a specific thing. And that is where this game shines, and is how most action combat games are designed. So yes less of the middle man things as you say. But not removal just less and more streamlined so the pacing of the game is more constant. The problem with this game is the peaks of action are really high and the lows are extremely low so it just is not pleasant to go from hardcore rock to elevator music while picking rocks up.
@@Theelderarmorysoulstormkj Yeah, I think some of the main quests (the eastpool stuff, sand collecting) should have been replaced with the Jill, Torgal, Mid side quests

Soken just can't help himself. He just has to make every titan fight music a BANGER!!
And sometimes they're in the same key and can be made into a mashup effortlessly. I heard this and found myself singing "bow down overdweller", until I heard it had shiny new lyrics.
This song came out of fucking no where and I loved every second of it
@Kromgar1337*Under the Weight
While you’re at it, look up Landslide and Under The Weight-Primals.
The urge to scream “HEART OF STONE” at the top of my lungs.
Not socially acceptable, unfortunately 😔
Pulling the RULES OF NATURE are you?
Why is it every time there's a titan theme it just slaps harder than a legalized nuclear bomb
They do love casting spells 😂

Worth its money? I spent $560, buying a ps5 bundle with it. Every penny was worth it and then some😎

RIGHT I THOUGHT OF DMC WHEN THIS SONG PLAYED
If it makes you reminiscent of DMC the combat director for FF16 is the same one who did the combat for DMC5

Thank you so much! 🙏
Most deserved "best soundtrack winner" of all time
Absolutely
DAMN STRAIGHT!!
Anyone that says ff16 didn’t deserve to win deserves some hands.
I legit felt in a Sonic game with that music
This is the second time a buff bald bad guy has an epic boss theme. I need to find more of this genre!
Red Sun over paradise
This is SO GOOD and so well made, I love how you did the intro, the lyrics, syncing the music well, clives voice too
Thank you!!!
When this song came out I thought I was playing devil may cry for a minute
Ifrit over here thinkin he asura. And im all here for it
The most awesome boss fight in 16
Agreed
This and Bahamut were my favorite boss fights in ages.
I thought the Typhon one was pretty epic with that EDM track dropping at the start
@@ErdingerLi That one is sick as well!
The quality of how well this was made caught me off guard, nice job!
Thanks!!!
I love his final phase theme a little better tbh. Its the same lyrics, but its soken going super saiyan in that version.
The final phase is cool af
There's just something about Ifrit doing a leaping 540 kick just to dodge a stone tendril that scratches my brain itch
When the full FF16 soundtrack comes out, I need an HQ version of this video, I literally can't listen to this song without my "heads up Hugo" and "One last time" parts I LOVE THIS!
There’s isn’t a song much like this in the whole game so that came out of not where for me as well!!
This song reminds me of a theme for shadow the game

I think I see what you're saying
Me trying to kill that one fly (yes it cut my arms off and cut me in half too)
Your time, is past! And this game, is OVER!
Titan was SO FUCKING BADASS 😂
Titan theme is legally obliged to go harder than any boss theme
Someone needs to edit this video to make a titan lost status
This fight was fucking epic. Probably my most favorite fight in the entire game.
Absolute 🔥🔥🔥
I’m partial to the Bahamut fight, but this is rock fucking solid too
This one, Typhon, Bahamut, the Necrophobe and Sleipnir just hit different
All boss battles were great but these specifically where in a whole another level
I’m kind of upset the final boss wasn’t on as grand a scale as this
sir, there's dmc in my final fantasy
could you sprinkle some extra on it
this comment was made by someone else but man if they weren't right when they said it
I was never a huge final fantasy fan but the music from this game alone makes me want to play it. But i doubt my PC can run it at all lol
Knowing yoshi p, he'll probably make the port as accessible as possible, considering most of the FFXIV audience is on PC.
@@Jargon.5 From the future, i'd say.. not. My 2060 can hardly run it. But hey.. 30 fps is still 30 fps. I'm playing it.

This boss was really hard; almost unplayable. How the heck am i supposed to fight while break dancing?
Soken!!! Jesus, CHILL!!!
This fight had to be inspired by the Wyzen fight in Asura's Wrath yeah?
Had to be. At least a little
Heart of Stone!! 🗣🔥🔥🔥

You cannot convince me the singer is not saying Monkey Writes
Final Fantasy XVI turns into Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance
Dmc vibes
All I'll say is you can definitely taste the devil may cry influence in this fight LOL
Lolol true
These types of music always remind me of sonic XD
god damn amazing
I’m sorry, when did i start playing Asura’s Wrath?!
What's your opinion on The Riddle (Odin's theme)?
The vocals are great, but I prefer most of the other Eikon themes
FUCKIN A! AWESOME!!!!!
Thank you!!!
Reminds me of asura
The scale of this fight is very reminiscent of that game
I should really play it...
Titan lost status? Hmmmm?

By “on rails,” do you mean less of the middleman (overtly large zones, forced side stuff in Eastpool, Dalimil, Northreach, etc.)?
