Our wallets are very similar. I am very surprised you do not have any Kevlar string.if you are not familiar with it, you should look into it. Great stuff. One other suggestion. A couple of guitar picks. They are made of celluloid and make a great tinder in themselves.
Very nice setup. I sewed my own wallet and it holds on the outside a 1 AAA LED light, a Bic lighter, a 6" steel ruler shortened, tweezers, a shorty bic pen, a couple of bandaids and a gauze pad, a couple safety pins and paper clips, a razor blade, a phone list, and a few blank business cards for writing things down. We'll see how it grows over time. Oh, and I sewed a secondary lining in it with a hidden $100 bill. If you really need the money to get home, just seam rip with your knife and buy the gas.
I think a lot of micro survival kits will kill the untrained people by false hope. But in the trained hand it is a life line. But they are still temporary for a set amount of days but that is survival kits.
Im sure that this wallet is everything you say it is but I can watch every man or woman that wears a hip wallet and they have a limp because of wearing it in their hip pocket. I haven't been wearing one in my hip pocket for more than 30 years . It was another fellow trucker that told me that . I still have some of that problem but that is from sleeping on my right hip to get away from my bad left shoulder. All that sounding like I've got one foot in the grave, but I'm still in pretty good shape for 70. I've gone to long so now I'll hush !
it was a toss up for me, him chris, and joe robinet, my three heros in one show! i though weatherman was gonna crush it ,but hearing animals outside your shelter can be disheartening, especially if you've got so much more to live for. and poor joe. anybody that exhausted could have made the same mistake
Might want to magnetize that pre-threaded needle as I have; you can use it as an improvised compass.I have mine threaded with dental floss; light, tough, and lends itself to multiple use..
I wish he shared what duct tape he used or uses. Not all are created equal and it seems like the majority of brands turn very gummy and almost liquid after some time. T-rex seems to stick the best and strongest.

I do think a survival kit should be setup for the zones you maybe travel around.
Tip - flip the batteries around, and tighten as much as you need. no fear in them being used.
