I had a really hard time with your method….
Yes it score a line after three passes but when I went to fold it it’s still stuck together….
Today’s temperature was 87° so I don’t know if that had something to do with it …?
I ended up using scissors.

If you're a home owner (like me) who is doing his own roof, you wouldn't need a Pneumatic cutter. A simple $12 cutter and some hook blades from Home Depot will do. but it's nice to know that professionals have all these options.
