Sem pretensão nenhuma,eu tive a honra nessa vida de estar sentado bem perto desse homem e ouvir ele cantar. Só falo uma coisa, ele é único. Tenho certeza que o sonho de qualquer intérprete que estuda música todos os dias da vida, é conseguir transmitir toda sua emoção através da vós. Mas diante das limitações que ela teve ela fez o possivle pra tentar o significado e a emoção da letra. De modo que, embora ela não tenha o todo, ela buscou ter alguma parta para fazer a análise dela, e isso pra mim já algo a se considerar. Ela fez o que ela pode.

Eu conheço as músicas do Zé Ramalho desde os anos 1970's / 1980's... O melhor show que já assisti na vida - de todos que já fui, e olha que já fui em muitos - foi o dele, no início dos anos 1980's, em São Paulo... maravilhoso... inesquecível!!! Era mais jovem, mas com qualidade impressionante, inesquecível... Está "velhinho" nesse vídeo, mas o trabalho dele sempre estará em meu coração! Obrigada pela reação a ele! Maravilhoso, sempre!!!

Man, my favorite singer and one of the most talented singers and songwriters to ever emerge from my country. I would also recommend listening and reading the lyrics of the song "Canção Agalopada" it's a kinda "psychedelic" song and full of reflections and references.
I went to one of his concerts in 2021 and "Sinônimos" was the last song of that concert, after he sang in a concert of more than 2 hours without a break and always keeping his voice perfect, without detuning a single time and man he is 73 years old , this is impressive. it was a spectacular show and that song at the end only served to crown and thrill all those who were there

But they keep singing and have a faithful audience. Elza Soares sang her whole life, until she died; in recent years, she only sang sitting down.

A definição de ''parece que ele viveu uma longa vida'' é perfeita, definiu perfeitamente a voz dele. E sim, a voz dele é única, mas mudou ao longo dos anos, ele antes nos primeiros álbuns tinha uma voz ''jovem'', mais limpa, acredito que essa voz que é única, mas ao tempo parece ter sofrido um dano é assim por conta do cigarro. Se não me engano, nessa época ele ainda fumava e só resolveu se cuidar mais depois de um infarto em 2012 (se não me engano).

as a Brazilian, I'm very happy to have a guy like Zé Ramalho in our music. Even he not being one of my favorites.... but he is different, he is one of those people who make the entire music tradition richer...
and this music it's one of those the more you think about the lyrics, the more meaning you find. "synonymous of love is to love" seems non-sense at first, but it really mean something, and you have to find it.

NA verdade não contaram para ela que ele tem um sotaque nordestino por isso sua voz tem algumas nuances diferentes, mas , essa musica foi feita especialmente pra a voz dele.
One song from him that people over here LOVEs and is always singing, too, is "Admirável Gado Novo", wich, I believe, was part of the soundtrack of a TV Novel "O Rei do gado", though Im not sure if that was the Novel it was part (I trully believe so... but Im kind of old, so, memory is a fun thing lol).
The link bellow is for you, its Maria Betjânia and Alcione singing "O Meu Amor" from Chico Buarque. Its a live performance of a recent show, they both old, and still singing amazing, like, and fooling around with each other, Alcione fails in lyrics once and keeps singing after a little smile, its amazing. They both recorded this song in 1978, I believe, and it was for Bethânia albúm called "Álibi", it was the first time Bethânia sang a music with Alcione (the plan was to her make a duo with Gal Costa, but Gal voice would be too high and soft for the lyrics, specially when both have to sing together, so Gal Costa made a duo with Bethânia in another song of the same album, "Sonho Meu").

There's a great singer called Tetê Espíndola who is considered the brazilian Kate Bush. Their voices are similar, but Tetê's is higher pitched and more nasal. Her styles are very similar as well. One of her most famous songs, and that shows her range most amazingly is called "Cunhataiporã". I think you'll dig reacting to it!
