  • Thanks a lot South Coast Autos for inviting me to Texas for the first time! It was a wonderful trip filled with a lot of variety! For more info on this car or any others in their inventory, check out www.southcoasta...
Hello and welcome to Saabkyle04! TH-cam's largest collection of automotive variety! In today's video, we'll take an up close and personal, in depth look at the 2007 Toyota Yaris Liftback.
During this presentation, we will take a 1st person look at what the vehicle is all about beginning with the start up, performance data, fuel economy, the occasional track data, and build quality. Also, I will teach you how to use most of the interior and exterior features in a detailed fashion, that before, you could only get from going to a dealership yourself! Throughout the video, I will highlight key styling and unique differences about the vehicle, any available options, and of course it would not be an enthusiast car video without the good ole engine portion with rev and exhaust note with interior and exterior perspectives. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.
FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE CHANNEL SEE BELOW: In this channel you will find in depth educational videos of automobiles from all over the world, presented in a more detailed fashion than ever before. Basically, this gives the viewer the chance to view the most detailed 1st person look you can get without going to an actual dealer yourself! Every video is consistent in the way I present so viewers know what to expect in my presentations. I treat every vehicle with the same respect whether a 1960 Chevrolet Impala SS or the 2012 Lamborghini Aventador. I film all types of vehicles from past, present, and future while broadening the knowledge of the automotive enthusiast. You will see everything from vintage, brand new, exotic, mainstream, old, etc. I am very proud of this channel and have built it up from amateur videos years ago to what you see today. I wanted to share my love for the automotive world with the rest of the world. Be sure to explore the massive video variety, have fun and enjoy The Driver's Seat of TH-cam!

What's up with all these people bashing the car? It gets you from point A to point B just fine. And if you stick to the speed limit it gets you there just as quick as any other car.

crack pipe peter As a matter of fact I know something about cars. And that knowledge makes me appreciate this car no matter how much people think it sucks. It's funny how people expect so much more from a car that's really only basic transportation.

I compare a car against other cars. A skateboard gets you from point A to point B as well. That's not my determining factor when looking at a car, as any car can do it.

I bought a 2007 Yaris two months ago and it packs a powerful punch and it is excellent at doing what it is designed to do and that is being cheap on gas and getting from point A to point B because it is an excellent commuter car.

Great stereo, great MPG, and has a great power/weight ratio!

First of all its a hatch, so for its category I find a very comfortable for a daily use. The engine can be buzzing sometimes but if you revv it a lot. On normal speeds its relatively quiet and its a nice car to drive. For its price there's nothing more you can expect or complain. I have the Sedan version but I already drove this one.

I don't know why everyone is talking shit about this car but over in Europe you see quite a few of these models on the road, because the Yaris's are small, extremely practical, very fuel efficient, durable and well made. . Some people just want a car they can go from a to b in. Besides which the roads around Europe are much smaller than those in the US. Just some of you guys being ignorant, bet hardly any of you have even seen this car in person let alone driven one. They are very good cars.

Year 2007 and it doesn't even have electric windows. I understand that this is a cheapest version of a Yaris, but come on. Great car, however. Very reliable and cheap to maintain. I bought one in '07 as a courier vehicle, was around 16k new with just about every available option. I still have it in '14, and I can honestly say I wish I would have spent that money on a different automobile. Having a brand new car at a low price point is nice, but this thing really is cheaply made and feels like plastic all around. Sure, it's never had any major engine troubles, I've never had it in the shop for any issue, but the electric power steering and lack of ABS makes it almost dangerous to drive, if you take your eyes off the road, there's no real way to discern if the car is drifting, as there is literally no road feel at all. Also the A-pillar is pushed so far forward that it interferes with visibility during cornering. Overall, it does not feel like a safe car to drive due to it's construction (check out some crash test footage, it doesn't fair well), it's steering setup and it's lack of ABS. About all I say for it is the interior is well planned, and if you get the optional fold-down rear seats it has a good amount of cargo space for it's size. It also has a very good power to weight ratio, but that almost adds to the feel of overall cheapness.

This is one of the best cheap subcompacts on the market. They are reliable as hell, you can pretty much drive it until it breaks in half without having many drivetrain issues. As for the people who say "where's the tach?" if you actually knew how to drive a manual you don't need the tach. For a cheap runaround car, these are perfect. If you want refinement, go with a Lexus.

One of my favorite videos is the one with the 1983 (I think) Honda. The one which barely started and was a dump inside. I love that video because it shows the commitment Kyle has to it's views and makes me appreciate my car more.

Say whatever you want... But I love my Yaris to the fullest. I modded it to my exact taste (stanced out), clean. Even won some prizes with it.
The Yaris can be boring... but it's up to YOU to make something out of it.
If anyone is interested in some pictures, let me know ;)

It's referred to as a upgrade because you have to pay extra for it and it's the same here in the UK too, regardless of driving preferences.
