    I noticed that a lot of of users have been wanting to make cave ecosystems that differentiate themselves from the normal standing ocean as well as caves that start life that then can transition into the ocean through survival of the fittest methods and so on and so forth.
    What caves currently don't seem to actually properly define when it comes to automatic biome placement. It also seems that things like bioluminescence and so on and so forth don't devolve based on the depth of the actual preset that you're in or the caves themselves. The lighting system is very nice but it oftentimes doesn't seem to work very well when it comes to the actual data involved in plants and animals

      Hopefully future updates will add those kind of adaptations in. I expected the cave to cause the creatures to get lazy with low competition and close abundant food. Thanks for the info, I’ll have to do some research later

      @@HeTheLyon Dude yeah, I did too? But the way they have terrain handled makes it sorta hard for the caves to even EXIST properly.
      They did REALLY GOOD, I adore them! But they definitely have some places that feel like if they add em, might change the feel ENTIRELY to ABOVE and beyond

      @Deckardb25364 I totally agree! Ecosystem is definitely one of the best evolution simulation kind of games i’ve tried. I’ve noticed a lot of the time when spawning fish in an underground cave they will spawn on the surface so it makes me think currently they’re really only intended to be there at the moment, I think they’ll implement caves later and when they do it’ll add a TON to try out
