If you commit a crime, there shouldn't be a civil case. That just encourages people to make shit up for money at best. At worst, it encourages people to take money and leave predators on the street.
Criminal case is taken by the state, civil is taken by the victim. Civil is for damages caused to victim, criminal is the state prosecuting a wrong doer
That's how it is in many nations. In Canada you can not sue for a criminal case, for exact the reasons you outline. Or rather you should have to be convicted in a criminal case before a civil case can be brought. A criminal case should determine guilt and a civil case should decide if you need to make financial restitution on top of the penalties the criminal case gave you. Being able to have person be both innocent criminally and guilty civilly of the same crime is insane. Cosby had quality legal advise that got him a deal that would protect him in the future. Poor Britney was put into a conservatorship without a clear way out. The civil court is all about making deals and negotiating terms ( both her conservatorship and his first trial was in civil court ) in addition to that the burden of proof in civil court isn't beyond a reasonable doubt, it's just preponderance of evidence which is relatively low in comparison to beyond a reasonable doubt.
How bout you live your actual life and not worry so much about celebrities. Bill Cosby ain't drug and rape you and you don't know Britney spears. We don't have any information on what's really going on in both, just what's being told to us. So take what these people say with a grain of salt
Here’s what really happened. The prosecutor said the allegations had no supporting evidence so he would not prosecute Cosby. He then said that so the lady could get some kind of retribution for her claims he would never prosecute Cosby. He did that so Cosby would not claim the 5th amendment in the civil trial. If there’s no possibility of criminal prosecution you can’t claim the 5th and this is why he did the depositions. Afterwards a new prosecutor filed charges but Cosby was already forced to give testimony against himself in the civil trial. Dirty pool!
I'd probably care more if he didn't look like a blind chihuahua. Everyone hates him, he's not going to be doing this to anyone anytime soon, and he's gotta watch his back wherever he goes now.
You do know that Cosby maintained his innocence throughout the trial, right? You do know that the judicial system entrapped him right? You do know that you cannot convict someone whose information was obtained through a promised to not have criminal proceedings against him, right? Or do you believe that due process ( innocent until proven guilty) doesn't matter. If you believe that the judicial system should be free and loose with your freedom, move. Because that is not how we do business in the United States. And I don't care if Cosby is the nicest guy on the planet or the biggest POS in the world. Due process means due process for everyone. That is what sets the United States above the rest of the world.
People use to pop those like candy back in the day, if you stayed awake for 10-15 minutes after it kicked in you would get high of it. These women just had buyers remorse and found an opportunity to play victims.
Unfortunately these are the kind of cases that protect our rights to a fair trial 🤔 this honestly seems like an important case for the African American community.
It's more that it was accepted to do drugs and have sex back then and it was only recently a big issue. It's not really fair to jail him for that if you don't find evidence it wasn't consensual.

Cosby is now a "free man" and a judge won't end Britney's conservatorship. _dafuq is wrong with the system??_
Cosby had quality legal advise that got him a deal that would protect him in the future. Poor Britney was put into a conservatorship without a clear way out. The civil court is all about making deals and negotiating terms ( both her conservatorship and his first trial was in civil court ) in addition to that the burden of proof in civil court isn't beyond a reasonable doubt, it's just preponderance of evidence which is relatively low in comparison to beyond a reasonable doubt.
plus derek chauvin only got 22 years
How bout you live your actual life and not worry so much about celebrities. Bill Cosby ain't drug and rape you and you don't know Britney spears. We don't have any information on what's really going on in both, just what's being told to us. So take what these people say with a grain of salt
Ain’t ya boy charla In the same situation
Yep
Here’s what really happened. The prosecutor said the allegations had no supporting evidence so he would not prosecute Cosby. He then said that so the lady could get some kind of retribution for her claims he would never prosecute Cosby. He did that so Cosby would not claim the 5th amendment in the civil trial. If there’s no possibility of criminal prosecution you can’t claim the 5th and this is why he did the depositions. Afterwards a new prosecutor filed charges but Cosby was already forced to give testimony against himself in the civil trial. Dirty pool!

Alex woke up and chose VIOLENCE!!!!
Gilbert godfried has a great story:
Apparently Cosby had 35 mins in his schedule where he'd teach a comedy class to Asian women😂
What podcast that interview on

Damn that last joke. COLD 💎💎💎
Who takes allergy meds from someone else, even if it’s Bill Cosby.
Alex with the half court bomb at the end of the quarter lmaooo
Kinda like how Charlamane agreed to a lesser charge and now can't not be criminally charged for a crime that he already was given lesser charge for.
Alexx Media sniping with no scope at the end 😂
@@thomasrocker7408 I ain't reading all that. I just wanted to make a blind chihuahua joke. So enjoy the time spent on writing this.
This is so great just bros being bros having a good time talking freely, nothing else like this out right now.
People use to pop those like candy back in the day, if you stayed awake for 10-15 minutes after it kicked in you would get high of it. These women just had buyers remorse and found an opportunity to play victims.
Alex outchea pullin up from the logo lol
Unfortunately these are the kind of cases that protect our rights to a fair trial 🤔 this honestly seems like an important case for the African American community.
He’s On Fire! Alex was going on 😂😂
Loved that Crazy Bill didn’t bent over whenever the system wanted him to go to sexual abuse counseling lol 😂
Alex looks like he's reppin Grove Street 4 life! lol
The man should've never been locked up to begin with.
why tho..
Wrong, he should not have been able to buy his way out. Pretty obvious this happened.
ALEX WASNT MISSING LMAOOOO💀💥🔥
“He bought drugs to give to women”
Alcohol is a drug. So we all should go to jail.
exactly.
Speak for yourself bud, A real man never put his hands on an overly intoxicated woman.
It's more that it was accepted to do drugs and have sex back then and it was only recently a big issue. It's not really fair to jail him for that if you don't find evidence it wasn't consensual.
@@alexgraham9644 this guy. Lol
@@TheGovernmentputcrackinmyblunt it’s still acceptable to have sex on drugs. It will always be.
Liquid Death sponsoring all these podcasters now, like they actually drink that stuff haha
is actually pretty good
The yelling over each other, 10 ppl talking at once is literally death to our eardrums. Very happy I stopped paying for the Patreon. Most episodes are literally un-listenable
Prosecutors blew the roofie off this case.🤦🏻♂️
