The five hundred quid settlement was for two reasons; one, to be a comically low settlement for such a case, and two, it couldn't be a realistically high amount as that would mean Jen has no reason to stay in the job.... she gets paid peanuts so the show can continue with her in it.
£500 is literally the joke, the lawyer was so incompetent that's all they settled for.
Mildly disappointed you didn’t fully show the bit where Moss shakes the empty cup, realises he’s messed up, runs straight into the door 😂

The AI Spencer uses in editing really picks weird edit points sometimes. The visual jokes and others get spoiled sometimes by this.

That scene with the electric sex pants is comedy gold.
At the moment when Douglas strides confidently into IT and declares “computer man, fix my pants”, I had a horrible flashback to my old boss. It was a laptop, not electric sex pants. But apart from that, the situation was almost identical.
The British Quid is our equivalent to the US Bucks.
The balloons on the Picture gets me everytime.

You STILL haven't quite 'got' the British humour and you STILL take things a little TOO seriously... The £500 + WAS a stupid sum for EACH of them to accept as a 'pay-off', and everyone watching knows it! It's just part of the 'joke', the 'ridiculousness' and the 'naivety' of the comedy and characters... 😅 😂 🤣 (TBH: You two do say some funny things - that make me LOL!). 😎

@@spootot Yep. He's the singer at the table at Messy Joes, the old wizard who sells Douglas the 'magic potion' and the guy who shouts 'We're all gonna die!' after Jen gives the Internet speech. Probably more, but I don't recall.
4:18 I'm not British but German, but I can still tell you with certainty that the amounts of money in IT Crowd are a running gag. In only one case were these absurdly high, and that was in the minutes before Denholm Reynholm threw himself out of the window. Otherwise they are ridiculously low. Roy risks his life for a £20 note. Douglas pays Roy £50 to set up a website. When Moss gave Jen a husband, she promised him £10, and initially only gave him £5. Perhaps these would have been appropriate amounts in the 1950s, perhaps more so in the 1930s.
By the way, in central London a bar of chocolate costs more than £5.
Why are these only about 19 minutes now, they used to be 35 to 40 . Some of the best bits are missed out .
Some we have to cut up to get through the Copyright filters, some we don't 🤷🏻♂️

You say there was meant to be a continuation after the earlier Aunt Irma episode. The point was that you had just seen moss with gen and then Roy with the psychiatrist. It then said "to be continued". The continuation was that you had to wait to after closing credits so that you saw Richmond and the boss in bed, and not something in the next series.
I remember at school when was Information Communication Technology then at college was Information Technology
ICT is just office software and email. IT is everything - desktops, servers, comms, databases and the cloud.
So I’m gonna keep recommending you guys do Spaced but on the subject of graham linehan he did several episodes of another of my favorites that stars and features many from the cornetto trilogy, Black Books.
Great reaction videos again. Graham Linehan just last week said this show can be called the "I T crowd" or the "it crowd". It's up to you.
