I can double check but I believe the one I replaced is main pump and other is auxiliary pump. I believe it will only fit in the one spot but not 100% sure. My fuel pump wasn’t broken when I replaced this , so I’m not completely sure how to start diagnosing the fuel pump . Luckily I haven’t had to go through that frustration yet, but if you don’t hear a buzz or whirring when your car is priming , the fuel pump is probably good place to start!
I did change it, only one pump was there, i needed to cut the plastic to make it fit because its thicker than the original, it wasnt hard to change it actually i didnt need to take it all the way out, just little bit to get access
Would this be the same install for an 08 c30 t5 manual? Idk if mine looks like that under the seat Highly modified need this in order to run my 550 cc injectors I believe
You should have tied a string, rope or (non-sparking) wire to the pump wiring harness before you pulled the harness out through the tank. That way you can use the string to drag the harness back through its original routing inside the tank. This video shows the details for that. th-cam.com/video/JmRebDmvStQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=I79RhHsVxtYipg6p
im replaceing my fuelpump to on my t5 05.. but i didnt use a wire/rope in the tank to get the line back as it should be. i draged it like u did in the tank ( back of the tank ) and that wrong, u have to put the line in front of the tank insted like ur vid u but it in the back.. i did so and my car didnt drive great after that cuz the lines was in a bad angel.. did u have any problemes with that?
@@pontus5753 the oem hose is plastic and has the possibility of kinking. I later went back and replaced the whole line with flexible fuel hose in the whole tank. I think the line is routed properly but I did have an issue after where the car would randomly die at certain turns and I believe it was due to the hose kinking around turns. I’ll double check but I believe up in the rear over the hump inside the tank is correct.
I explain it like this , if you plan on upgrading your car it’s going need more fuel, especially if you get bigger fuel injectors. When you use bigger fuel injectors let’s say the stock fuel pump is working at 80% power to supply the fuel if you upgrade fuel pump it will only be working at 40% power to achieve the same amount of fuel ,leaving room for you to push it harder in the future with more upgrades !
You've made an exceptional DIY video. Very thorough and easy for viewers to follow. Thank you. 👍
Much appreciated ! I try to do my best for you guys!
Thanks for all the walk through vids,I Had an s60r it was fun but I rather have the T5 for rolling is so much easier
S60r is cool but T5 has some charm :)
Thanks for creating this useful video.
You’re Welcome! I’m glad it could help!
Pls but make video of how the wire in the fuel pump module runs.
Thx for ur video
Does it matter which one u replace and how do u know which one is broken?
Thx for answering

I ordered one and see if it makes any changes

Do you know what the difference between the stock pump and the DW is? Is it more of a performance upgrade or just a replacement? Thanks!
Performance Upgrade!!! Flows more fuel! Needed when going for high HP!
Do you know if 2009 model have the same type of system?
What kind of exhaust do you have and you don't have a video on doing it thanks
3” stainless downpipe from Revolv 3” titanium catback . I think I shoes a little bit of removal in the turbo video. I’ll try to make one!
@positivegarage ok great thanks
Should i do it to my p2r?
Yes especially if you have mods
Hey man good job, i'm ordering a dw300 for my 2002 2.4t, have you the fuel pump's code to order correctly? Thanks
Order Dw300C
Hit up @thewhiteblockcompany on Instagram he’s a volvo master he will know forsure
Did you have to modify the fuel pump connector? Or does the stock one plug right into the dw300?
It plugs right in good sir!

I believe it’d probably be a very similar situation but the exact location may be slightly different as the c30 and s60 are pretty different.

@@rickb.2081 I agree with this, I just happened to do this before I knew about that . But it’s not terribly complicated to get it back where it was.
Did that tool come with the fuel pump ? I am about to order the same pump myself
No you have to order it separately about $20

where did you buy the fuel flex hose replacements?
Amazon but I ended up using the rubber hose provided in the kit for the fuel pump
Does this not fit the 2.5t models?
It does fit the 2.5t models.
I believe they all have the same fuel pump assembly / similar . I know a guy in Canada running aftermarket fuel pump in his 2.5t @grampas.volvo
