  • We recently bought a 2004 GMC Sierra from our neighbor because our kids are getting older and will be needing a safe vehicle to drive. The first upgrade we are making to this truck is to replace the radio with a touchscreen Boss unit that I got on Amazon which will also handle apple car play and a backup camera. I’ll be installing the backup camera as well and accidentally break the RCA cable during the install. So this video is also a quick primer on how to repair a damaged RCA cable end. We will be retaining the steering wheel inputs and BOSE functionality via a Crux adapter. Thanks for watching. Enjoy! #diymechanic #GMCSierra #GMC #Sierra #2500HD #youtubemechanic #aftermarketradio #aftermarket #SEMA #RCA #BOSE #Crux #swc

Do you have links to the products you used? Specifically the interface.

Sure, Jeremy. I think you're referring to the Crux adapter, correct? I used model SWRGM-48. If you don't have the exact same vehicle as mine, just read through the description on Amazon or Crutchfield to make sure it will sync with your vehicle. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017AKX99Q/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1

Hi. I used the Metra 95-2001 for my truck.
