If this laptop could run AC at 60 Fps at maximum video settings, it might have been a very reasonable price. Considering that it is a gaming laptop that struggles to run such games, idk man. Kinda expensive.

I can't believe no one is talking about the hinge problem in Dell G3.
Do not buy the dell g3. It has a huge design flaw. Its hinge gets easily broken after a few months and im not the only victim.And the repair is not covered in warranty. Even if you replace the whole screen the same thing repeats with the hinge.Many customers have had the same problem and its not because of tough handling its a manufacturing defect. I bought Dell g3 back in march 2020 and im still regretting it. I cannot believe Dell has not stopped manufacturing this model.

Dude witcher and Wildenstein are super demanding games. Even a Gtx 1060 laptops struggle at ultra. If the graphics gets switch to high (with hairworks off) it can easily hit 50-60 fps
He's a noobie bro. Didn't check temps or if it is thermal throttling. He didn't even undervolt and/or overclock the GPU
He didn't even tell the refresh rate of the display neither he told the type of usb port they are having, like of which gen usb ports. He should study more on this.

Try changing the RGB value of the display from Intel panel.
i suggest buy a secondary display like a monitor or replace the screen panel of the dell g3.

I have FHD TN panel with the following setting (/ Intel HD 4400)
Brightness -> -18
Contrast -> +1
Saturation-> +25
I also calibrated my display contrast and brightness using inbuilt windows calibration program.

Please, can you help me? I have a Dell G3 3590 with a very similar configuration (it`s nearly the same except it has 24Gb RAM and 525Gb SSD). I`ve heard in some videos that tends to be warm during running games. Could you recommend any kind of cooler pad which is worth to use it with? Secondly, for my previous laptop (Lenovo Ideapad Y510p) I have a vacuum cooler alongside with. One of my colleagues (whom I do not really respect as a computer pro) said it can ruin my notebook`s inside cooler fans. It has a potmeter where you can adjust the power of the vacuum cooler`s fans, but there`s no way to measure the speed of it of course, moreover, there`s no way to determine the speed of the coolers inside the notebook. Therefore he said that if the vacuum cooler`s fans are faster than the coolers inside the notebook, it can ruin the thole of the coolers inside the laptop. What do you say, is it true or it is just a fantasy of his simple mind? And what do you think, is it worth to keep this vacuum cooler alongside with Dell G3? Because in case of the Ideapad Y510p there were blow-holes on the side of the notebook where you can easily fit the vacuum cooler, but in case of Dell G3 it`s not so simple because as far as I see it has a blow-hole right below the hinge and in my view it couldn`t be simple to fit the vacuum cooler there because of the hinge itself....or what is your recommendation at all, what is the best cooler to use alongside with Dell G3 3590? Thank you for your help in advance and I`m looking forward to your answer.

I have the exact laptop but a different colour backlight, its really great but I agree the display is awful, I play on my window in my bedroom so that was clearly a good idea, anyway, if I was to upgrade my ram would I need another 8 gig stick of ram DDR4?

@@singhswaranjit Its not like yellowish ,i have only issue that is its not that much brighter screen , but by the time you will get use to it.and i would say check .that your night mode might be turn on ,thats why it could be look like yellowish...
@MixTape By Fams Night Mode is set to off but still screen is pretty dull and dark few times, especially watching night scenes of movie or image.

Well you can't get more than 60fps on W3. It's common knowledge you need at least a 1060 if you want to get the best out of W3.

Predatory pricing for the specs. Now is the time for 9th gen 9750H with 1660 graphics. If you compare with HP, they are priced lower and with 256Mb SSD. 128Mb is useless for a boot drive.

It's more than enough for mechanical designing works. Even i5 processor and 4 GB of ram itself enough for it. Only issue is rendering takes some extra time in the latter laptop I specified
