Me, too! I also really liked the cording tip! So cool!
Love the tip about making more stitches than you need and taking out the extra ones at the end of the project. That will save me so much trouble lol.
True, saves time not having to count!

I've never seen anyone hold their yarn the same way I do until now!
It works best for me, and I'm so glad I don't have to be alone anymore
Oh, you are not alone! That's the way we are taught at schools in Finland so almost everyone holds it this way and many other northern Europeans too 😊
@@TuulaMaaria That's so cool!

I often use that “cord” in place of a starting chain, depending on the pattern. It gives a nice foundation to work the first row into & keeps things neat. Nice video!

Thank you very much. I really liked the thicker yarn tip and also hiw to make the cord . I've been trying to get the hang of the usual i-cord method for the stem of a sunflower but had given up. So your way looks much more do-able for me. Great timing! Thank you.
Thank you, glad they are useful! If you need a thicker i-cord than this one, you could also see if this video about doing i-cord using 2 crochet hooks would be useful: th-cam.com/video/iLMbKIS-wCw/w-d-xo.html

I just discovered your channel and must say, you have some pretty clever tips and explained in a easy to understand manner. Thank you for helping me expand my skill set with regard to this wonderful hobby. I enjoy your tutorials 😊
Thank u so much, great to hear! 💜
I love how you hold your hook.it’s so different..I really am having trouble adding a new skein of yarn,I’m new and I started a double crochet blanket,it looks really good but I’m waiting to get some more yarn and when I do I just don’t understand how to add it I practice on some old yarn till this comes and it’s very confusing and I’m upset
Hope you got the new yarn attached no problem. Often I just take the new yarn, leave the old and weave in afterwards. Or use this tip th-cam.com/video/RdZrJtn7Hdg/w-d-xo.html , only for thin and medium yarns.
Great you have started to crochet, keep going 😊! My way of holding the hook is simply what we were taught at school, all kids learn to crochet school here in Finland. I suppose I have modified it a bit but basically!
I love your tips a lot. 😉Always learning something new from you.
Awesome! Thank you!
