And to met him and receive a photo of the two..wow. bob was definitely with yall. Somewhere in the wind sound in your phone, sounded like bob himself for a brief second. Bob was with you in spirit.

4.28..2018.. thanks for sharing the picture of Bob and his brother Allen Ross.. I haven't seen Allen since all of us gathered at Bob's home in Winter Springs neat Orlando.. Oh! I am Vicky Ross.. Bob's first Wife .. I was at Bob's gravesite.. 4..26..2018..
Hey Vicky :) I’m so happy that you came across my video and I’m glad that it brought you back some good memories. Bob was such a big influence in my life when I was a kid and I was honored to go visit his resting place. I had no idea I would run into his brother or it happened to be his birthday. I just thought at that time It was coincidence, But later it felt like this it happen for a reason. I call it my happy little ghost story because I felt like Bob’s spirit was truly with us that day. Allen was a very nice man and was really happy to see me. He gave me that photo, and I keep it in my car above my head in the visor. I started making videos almost a year ago and it has became my passion. This will always be my favorite one. I hope you are doing well and I’m sure you have so many good memories and stories with Bob :) He truly has changed my life, that day changed my life. Maybe I’ll run into one day
It would of been a pleasure to have met you. Today is my first day working here at this beautiful property. Hope to meet you one day. Bob was a great men, love watching his shows. Take care.
McCann22 from what I understand he was married 3 times! Vivian/Vicky was first they had Steve and (Morgan?) divorced in 1977. His second wife from 1977-1992 divorced 93 she passed. His last wife, they married right before Bob died! I would really like to know if Steve Ross is still painting? It would be amazing if he would come back to do art videos on TH-cam and have his own series! I would really like to know why he didn’t carry on with the Joy Of Painting after his father passed? I do apologize if I got the names and dates incorrect, it’s really not my place to be giving this information, because I didn’t know him personally, just what I have read! Again I do apologize and mean no harm! Thank You! 😊🌲

The painting technique he used was called "wet on wet". Most would let their first placement of oil somewhat dry before adding more. His technique was astounding and produced some great art. He was somewhat panned by critics for it but his following was so solid most dismissed the critics. Even Hollywood stars would ask for artwork from him. This is a true story, on a break in filming the show he got a phone call and no one would tell him who it was until he took the call. It was Marlon Brando. He asked Bob to do an original work for him. I believe he did it and had him donate to public television as opposed to being paid. He never sold his work directly but many were put up for auction to help PBS stations. Some Hollywood stars have some of them and refuse to sell them as they deem them works they love and they were painted by a man they greatly admired. Oh and just to let you know, if you do see this, I did see you recommend this video to me in Adam The Woo's live stream today (12/13/17). It's a great one. Thanks for the suggestion.

That is totally awesome. Thanks for sharing and I will keep watching. Godspeed Mr.Ross. You are truly missed sir. Heaven gained one heck of an angel. Shine down on us sir.
After watching Bob for roughly fifteen years, I finally bought his painting kit. I was newly sober after two decades of hard drinking. I did a few paintings that were one step above a "Mud Mixer", but got to experience the "Joy of Painting". I still watch videos of William Alexander, and Bob, and am forever grateful for them! : )
I have been learning to paint with Bob Ross he is an inspiration! I was so sad when I learned how early he died but his spirit will live on forever! May God bless you all! Thank you for this video it really made my day!
Thank you for sharing this with us Tampa Jay, I have always admired Mr. Ross since I was a little kid and since I was or still kind of an artist myself, I was intrigued by his works and will admit that my talent was no where as good as his. I Being a veteran of the Army I have learned about his previous military experience and I learned that he was tired of living in that life of yelling and shouting at his Airmen recruits and he was burned out of the Military way of life and exited the service, he took up the skill of being an artist and became a very relaxed and quiet laid back person. This great encounter with his brother on what would be Bob Ross's birthday was coincidentally awesome, great video Jay.
THX-0381 thank you dude and thank you for your service. It was such a magical feeling to be there and witness the grave but to meet his brother was even better I was just lucky to be in the right place at the right time. God man..I sure am happy to know he went to a better place. Where probably his paintings came to life.. Rest in peace Bob Ross, the most lovable man in this world..
What an amazing experience. If you would have found Bob's gravesite any earlier you would have missed meeting his brother Allen....somethings are meant to be. I loved watching Bob paint...still do :-) I studied commercial art in collage but I think I learned as much or more from Bob. He inspired me so much...in 2013 I took a leap of faith and started instructing my own art classes. Sooo glad I did...I love it!! Thank you Jay for sharing your amazing journey to Bob's resting site....and THANK YOU BOB ROSS!!!
Thank you so much for watching. That day still gives me goosebumps and I truly feel that Bobs spirit was with us that day. I call this my happy little ghost story :) Bob was an amazing man that deserved more recognition for what he did, but because he was so humble he never wanted more then anything just to help people as painting helped him with his life. Im so happy I could share this with you :) Thank you for your awesome words

WhatThe? Paranormal thank you for watching Amy I'm so glad I could. I was at the right place at the right time. It almost felt like they were angels there
I live very close to the cemetery and we visited it today! We were there to pay respect to someone we lost and thought it would be nice to visit him. I was expecting a huge memorial or a statue but instead it look almost like any other normal grave which is very wholesome. He was such a humble man. All the tributes I saw at his grave were beautiful, including a bowl of coins placed next to the head stone. What made me even happier is he was buried right next to his parents too. There were tons of flowers and a few squirrel statues. What an amazing guy he was
I used to watch him as a kid too. He always amazed me. It seemed like all he had to do was run the brush a few times and the scenes just appeared. What a crazy coincidence to park your car right there on his birthday at the same time his brother was there! That photo is such an awesome thing to have as well! I never knew that stuff about his life either. Great video man! Take care
Levi Black thank you buddy! It was so crazy all the coincidences that happened to me that day. Sometimes you just get lucky. I loved watching him too I'm glad we share those same memories dude. Thanks for watching my friend
Absolutely amazing experience. You are so lucky. I grew up watching him. He would make me happy on my worst days . How wonderful to have met his brother . I don't think it was just a coincidence you were there on his birthday ! What a fun day for you, how amazing. Thanks for sharing. You made my day.

Sounds like you were meant to have that moment for sure! Bob was appreciating your keeping his memory alive! He brought a lot of joy to a lot of people. I hope and pray that even a couple people can say that about me when I'm gone!
I've lived here all these years and I had no idea he was buried here. He's had a resurgence lately with Target selling the t-shirts and other merchandise. So crazy you met his brother while you were there! Thanks for this!
Thinking about that day still gives me Goosebumps man i really loves Bobs show as a kid. I hope you go and check it out for yourself one day man.:) it would be cool to see it on video again
Tampa Jay I watched him as a kid too and I would love to check it out! When I first started this I said j wasn't going to do stuff that was already done... Then I figured out EVERY THING was already done.. thanks a lot Tim Tracker!! Lol
I visited Bob's grave today using the landmarks you roughly provided in your video. Bob is buried in Section 0. You'll see a sign on a pole stating Section O and this sign is visible from the street. His final resting place is six gravesites to the left of the sign and he's located just three rows back. I didn't see any recent flowers only a faded dollar store American flag and a glass jar filled with pennies. I have my first authentic Bob Ross paint brush I ever bought when I was a kid. I plan to encase it in glass and place it on his grave. We love you Bob. Thanks for inspiring us young painters.

TJ, Bob Ross gave people joy and comfort. You gave his brother solace because he now truly knows others are keeping Bobs memory alive.
Such a simple grave, for such an awesome man!
I *LOVE* the fact you respected him the way you did!
New Tampa Jay tradition?...
Thank you KR I was thinking the same thing. He's buried next to his father and his mother. Thanks for watching buddy

"Just beat the devil out of it" - Bob Ross
I'm glad I had to wait to share it with people. I appreciate you dude Bob was a very awesome guy and I really love his story

I call this my happy little ghost story :) Bob was an amazing man that deserved more recognition for what he did, but because he was so humble he never wanted more then anything just to help people as painting helped him with his life. Wow. Thank you SO much for filming and sharing this - I’ve just seen it June, 2020! Much appreciated from Glasgow, Scotland!
What an amazing guy he was
Thank you for sharing. Always loved Bob.
Thank you so much Nez:)

Take care

AnnDan &Kasey thank you Ann. It was really special. I'm glad I could share this with you
I visited Bob's grave today using the landmarks you roughly provided in your video.
I would so be geeking out, how wonderful this worked out for you! Thanks for sharing Tampa!👍🏻. This is a vlog to bank in special memories for sure!
