Nice one Skeggy. Ive got a 4 in one tester that does conductivity so ill give it a measure. Im planning on just running the air pump to it and then to the airstones in the pond. I'll keep measuring conductivity to see how long to keep it going.
Conductivity is not the same as ORP mate. Conductivity such as that measured by Bluelabs etc, measures dissolved ions in the water, ORP is the measure for the potential of oxidation in the water.👍

Thanks for that info but I saw a video where a guy was talking about his setup and he said don't use the airline as it will eat through it. I will be buying one for my main pond but in no rush let the Koi guys get them 1st .

Hi I been talking to eco filtration about my unit and he advised me to use in moving bed as it will get full saturation of the water and he say it perfectly safe in moving bed the units say 3 hour on and 1 hour off but that for 40,000 liter pond most hobby ponds will only need it on for 1 or 2 hours a day I start at 1 hour a day and turn up to get desired orp you want
I'm gonna have to have a chat with Sam.. because using it in the moving bed will knock back your bacteria in your filter .. I think ill get his view on it . However from the research I have done you need the ozone to have gassed off before it reaches your filter
Yh sam say he use in moving bed him self i think you would have to get orp high to kill moving bed but sam say it fine to do just start off low run time and turn time up if needed

Well I think it saturates the water with ozone so it go through ur filter anywayz but if you talk to sam he info you up he using it on about 5 ponds atm I think everyone buying these units need to get info before putting on pond and any 1 selling fish should not use as fish going out of ozone pond will have bacteria shock going it to one with out
@symongreenhalgh2160 the bacteria in and out of a pond works both ways I think youre over complicating it a little bit
