Interesting set! Cant wait for the comparison to the DV/RallZ combo. I dont want to lose my road/wet road performance and price would be a factor for sure. Definitely like where the brands are going in the adv offroad space.
The Mitas are usually pretty cheap in Europe, and x2 the price in US. I bought them and Heidies while traveling ib Czech Republic, Bulgaria, from Russia (before the sanctions), and there were like Shinkos ~$200 for the pair.. as much as you pay for one here in states.

IMHO reversing rotation is gimmick especially on Mitas Dakars. I have mounted these by hand and it is not something you would wanna mess with, and you don't really want them with tubes if you can help it.

Pouring wet ride on them this AM!!! Might post that as an uncut ride... WHEW!
Just ordered a set to do some Rally raids, cant wait to see the full review. 👍
Coming soon! Thank you for your support.
That's good news. I really wanted to install a set but we don't have them in Australia yet. Keen to hear how they go
They are not here in the USA either. I received one of the first sets.
@@manybikes good stuff mate. Looks like they could be a good Motoz alternative
@@onthebackwheel a very close competitor!
Do you have the video of the new Tusk tires?. Testing video
Nope, not yet. I have had them on for 2k miles and have covered some good ground. Video is forthcoming.
So this the same type as E-09 in Europe? Just renamed or is there some differences? At least the thread pattern looks the same.
This is an ALL NEW tire! New rubber compound, new carcass ... all new but the tread pattern. Watch this: th-cam.com/video/fqAqAtIgKCI/w-d-xo.html
Good looking set of tires. That dual rot. comes in handy. Reverse them fast for best results.
Totally agree! Great tires.
I've flipped "directional" tires many times. Sometimes they even work better.
Yes, once they wear in its like a NEW tire again!
Looks a cool tyre! The adv tyres have really come along way! Im sure some are more 70/70 now! Be interesting to see how they perform onroad! ❤
@@terrystratford1235 I'm on my second set and they handle great on road. They stick in the corners and handle triple digits without wobbles.
How deep is the tread on the rear tire?
13mm or 15 32nds is what I measured.
What's the price point on these and are they available?
We should see them in 4 to 6 weeks. Check them out here: manybikes.company.site/products/PRE-ORDER-Mitas-ENDURO-TRAIL-XT-ETA-Late-Feb-2024-p590057705

Very interesting. Import costs I would imagine.
Must be the price to import them into the USA here...

I would agree that the mounting was a bit tough. I did mine with tubes. Video to follow ;)
