These look nice. I like the 7mm micro adjust in the formex deployant clasp. It's also a omega style design. It can accommodate up to 2.5mm thick straps. It's a little pricier, but i love being able to use the micro adjust for a perfect fit. They only have blasted or brushed finishes. Brushed works for me.
New to your videos. Great edit. Great content. The only gripe is I had to play your videos on 1.5 speed because of how slow you speak. I enjoyed your video thoroughly. Highly educational
These are a nice option to have. Most of my watches that I wear regularly have bracelets, but I am planning on making a leather strap and this would be a great choice. Thanks for a thorough, fun to watch review.
They may design a great clasp… but not a great website. How do you select the width when ordering an RM clasp? Says for “19, 20, and 21mm” but doesn’t let you select before purchase.
@@DesignAtelier I understand they offer different strap sizes. On further review and to my surprise they only offer one size clasp to fit sizes 19-21mm? I can’t imagine a 2mm tolerance at the buckle end if fitting to a 19mm strap. That’s a lot of wiggle.
Thanks for the video on how to install them. I ordered the basic navy-blue white stitch sailcloth with the stock tag buckle but decided to add a deployant clasp for a nicer look to my Breitling Superocean Heritage ii. Now I will know how to install due to your excellent instructions. Thanks
@@DesignAtelier I received my BP FF Clasp today after 3 weeks and have it installed but question is the small anchor bars. How tight should they be screwed in as I fell they are holding but still can be turned. Did you use a second screwdriver to hold the opposite screw and turn the other. Should this anchor pin be tight? Thanks
What is the interior buckle width of the RM and BP style clasps? I want to use it with a different strap that measures 19mm. Also amazing editing in the video!
The Artem Omega style deployant has sharp edges and create hot spots. I just got a 21mm strap and deployant and after a few hours wearing I have an indentation on my wrist from the deployant and it's uncomfortable. I may try to smooth it out. Kinda not happy.
Hi. Great video. I really learned a lot and it is shot incredibly well. What strap were you using in the Speedy MK II that was missing the buckle pin? I agree with you that having that gap in the apartment sailcloth is annoying and would like to get a strap to be used with the deployment clasp. The new Artem loopless model is a bit outside of my budget.
Does the omega style clasp take straps that are 3mm or thicker? I know the original omega clasp does not, but did Artem manufacture theirs to take thicker straps? Thanks!
Anyone know if the omega style buckle is wide enough to take the omega rubber straps? I know similar aftermarket ones aren’t It’s not the width which is the issue but usually the rubber straps are too thick for the buckle
My seiko turtle live most of the time on a mks sailcloth and a rios 1931 deployant clasp. It's an half price alternative but still good quality! 👌 I will definitely look into an artem + rm clasp for my future sinn 556. This seems to be the next step for a Swiss or German watch.
@@mrmonday42 and? So you've chosen two relatively high ends Swiss brands to represent the prices of all major brands. Wow. Just wow. My car tires cost 170 each. Therefore most car tires cost $170+. I'm correct, yes?
@@DesignAtelier I was looking for a nice sailcloth strap, and Artem was definitely on the list. But the black just doesn't match the watch case or dial, so that was a no go. Too bad. The clasps look great though.

thanks a bunch for the support! i love making these videos and would love more subs. But it's comments like these the fuels the fire!

Thanks a bunch bruce

These are actually super premium. You wont regret your purchase. The RM style for me has just become my go to strap for my zelos.
May have to pick up an RM style clasp. I love the unique closure mechanism.

That’s 19, 20 and 21mm is talking about their artem straps. This RM clasp only fits those straps. For bigger straps, this RM clasp is not compatible.

@@PocketWatchTime the 19 - 21mm is the lug width. I’m sure all of them have about the same 18mm for the buckle tip
Very imaginative and captivating video
Beautifully filmed 👌
Thank you sir!

Best videographer hands down on yt
Awesome work Jayson these clasps look great make any watch collection look new again
You need to pick one up. It’s real class for your watches.

This one is 18mms.
great detailed information. Thanks!
Glad that it’s informative.

I’m sorry to hear that. I’ll relay the info to them.
Thank you for this informative and fun video.
I'm considering the all black strap and fifty Fathoms deployment for my Pelagos LHD.
You won’t be disappointed. It’s the best!

can you uprade the tang to a deployent? like if i have a tang can i make it a deployent?
Yes you can given the right type of deployant
Great vid Jayson
I wish they made a 16mm buckle width. I’d buy one in a heartbeat.
I’ll mention you’re request. Thanks.
They do
nice.
What white leather strap is that?
It’s an AliExpress tag heuer stock strap
Do you have a link for us? That looks really fancy :)
Does the omega style clasp take straps that are 3mm or thicker? I know the original omega clasp does not, but did Artem manufacture theirs to take thicker straps? Thanks!
2mm is the most I’ve used on these clasps. 3mm might not fit the groove on the deployant.
Really nice Band improvements!
Oh yes a definite upgrade!
Anyone know if the omega style buckle is wide enough to take the omega rubber straps? I know similar aftermarket ones aren’t
It’s not the width which is the issue but usually the rubber straps are too thick for the buckle
I used around 2mm thick. Any thicker than that may not fit.
Nice review! How was the shipping to the philippines? Have been thinking of grtting one too!
Hey there! Unfortunately I do not live in the Philippines.
Top notch video!
What’s your wrist size?
6.25inches
Thank you 💖

It does not disappoint. I may sound like a fanboy but I can’t speak highly enough of the RM clasp by artem.
Plus 1 for the Rios deployant clasp.
@@thomasmoll8822 let me check out these Rios clasp thing.
Despite its price. It's a $60 clasp only. No strap. Only clasp. I hope it's flipping high quality!!
I’ve handled a wide range of clasp up to haute horology. That 60$ is a bargain.
OEM SS deployants from major watch brands are all $500+
