This is how I used to play talon, but I abandoned it because too many talon videos were saying it was a ridiculous idea 😅. Nice to see it popping off the way I remember it.
The tips at the beginning of some of your recent videos have been so helpful. I have gotten to master the last few seasons but haven't finished very highly. Small tips like this really help to know how different Pokemon and kits work, and I've seen improvement from it.
Actually don’t hate the Blastoise capping with less points at 5:22 He was under leveled and that cap gave him the XP to get him to his unite move and prepared him for the fight briefly after. Pretty neat how little XP advantages and plays can go a long way like that!
They literally would have gotten that from the birds, and the enemies wouldn't have stolen the last hit on Altaria, because they wouldn't have wasted time going to score. It offered no advantage whatsoever.
@@flicknorm5646 nah... A bad turtle is noticeable... A bad pika at least throws a few balls in their faces... What would you prefer pumps and surfs going miss, or a long ass grab and sure hits?
I think stealth rock on crustle is so slept on. Amazing map/crowd control. I know x sciz gets good stuns but trapping with rock tomb stealth rock feels so good. Plus u can help with objectives just throw a SR & camp out ready with tomb to stop opps from stealing
I haven't played crustle much but stealth rock seems to be my preference. Just used it again last night, did the most damage by far (with my girl playing mr. mime, walls up 😂) Honestly it has great use to block off areas, steal farm, using that plus your wall to trap or annoy, very frustrating
Nah all bad players only go for things that heals you like dragon pulse goodra But they don't know how to play it properly and can't really know if its a good build when you see bad teammates play it
@@Lucarecuswtf dude😂 u hardly see randumbs even picking goodra or any defender U seem like u that talonflame who would go for back capping when everyone’s at the centre👀
I love the Flail Protect + Speed item Snorlax build. When you use them together you can push the other mons all the way back to their base lol. Its so helpful specially when your team got the Regileki and the enemy team is waiting at their goal.
I am a newbie (Rank Great 4), so please feel free to correct me. I think that Pikachu Thunder + Thunderbolt is really nice. It makes Pika have a really annoying and consistent AoE with the combo being fairly spammable (with about a 4 second cooldown at max level if I remember correctly). Not sure about emblems for it as I dont even have all of the ones available yet, but green + black would definitely make this build more annoying. Run eject button to not die. Once again, I dont know if people are sleeping on this, but all I see is Electro Ball + Volt Tackle and it really bothers me.
You're not wrong. Pika has just been power crept out of the meta. He's very easy to KO at the ray fight. Delphox is simply a better Pikachu. Or Glaceon or Espeon.
@kenny5844 Yeah that makes sense. All of those have way better mobility and damage than Pikachu because of their insane combo potential. I don't know what Espeon does yet but it seems pretty strong.
See for your question of the day Spragels only really got two attempts to answer. First I know it's new but no retreat iron head Falinks. Battle item: eject button. Held items: resonant gaurd, razor claw, muscle band. Feels like heavy slam block Snorlax with obviously more offensive pressure. I only mention it for the fact of not having seen another one yet and even you said it felt like the weakest falinks build to you. The other definitely more accurate answer to the question is acid spray muddy water Goodra. Battle item: X speed. Held items: slick spoon, resonant guard, Aeos cookie. It's the Lowest pick rate on Goodra but there's something to say about just being a tanky brawly boy he's risen to my second most played mon at 130 out of 2000 games and personally a 60% win rate.
i think the community sleeps on scizor when you get an early gank off you snowball super hard due to healing. The second move after bullet punch is double hit, it gives you a lot of outplay potential and mobility to dodge opponent moves. You also slow the enemy with auto attacks so if you catch them your team can just walk them down. I just never see anyone pull out scissor it's only ever scyther. Normally i play mid have a 78%wr with scizor but have only ever played up to ultra with it. (although umbreon and clefable have buttons that say you can't actually play the game)
I am a returnee player and way back when the game was new, talon si my most used pokemon using that move set. I will definitely try this new held items and coin thingies later.
Okay, so for sleeper build question personally Iron Head, No Retreat falinks is hyper good since you can play it like your standardized brown white behemoth or play it with muscle band razor claw and make your moving basics a complete nightmare for everyone to deal with. Also iron head in no retreat throws so yeah, there it is.
I’m late to the question but I noticed not a lot of people using Hoopa’s trick and shadow ball set. It’s not the best compared to phantom force or hyperspace hole but it’s very technical and it can shut down a single target or two if the shadow ball is perfectly timed with a boosted attack.
Idk if this counts, but I use the same 3 items on talon and I think dropping attack weight for an item that reliably gives you everything from the start is underrated. I also use emblems that give +273 movement speed, which has been working out rather nice so far, and I still need to finish my emblem collection and see some that might improve 😊
Funny thing, I only have 2 reliable emblem sets for a physical attacking Pokémon or a special attacker. The physical build mostly focuses on attack, HP, and a small buff to defense and special defense with special attack taking all of the negative effects. The special set is kinda the opposite but focuses more on special attack, cooldown reduction, HP, and special defense with the negative effects target only attack and defense. For Talonflame the extra HP and defense boost makes it feel safer to run the attack weight and razor claw.
Funnily enough this was one of my mains when the game very first dropped and I had no clue what I was doing but I still thought it was fun, the main reason I played it though was because I got the cool holowear for talon with the goggles early on
Dude I’ve been playing this build for a while and it’s super fun but instead of the float stone I’ve been using focus band but I will try the float stone.
QOTD: For the first year I only played Fire Blast / Fire Punch Charizard, throwing the Fire Blast and punching the enemy into the flames, brawling inside
I feel like people really sleep on Ice Fang/Earthquake Mammo, maybe it's not the best move set but dammit it is so fun and frankly I still think it's pretty good, though full heal, safe guard and abilities that grant invulnerability are the bane of its existence
I have been running this move set since mobile release and I am mvp 90%of my matches and have a 70% win rate in almost 150 ranked matches with almost every match being over 100k damage in veteran rank and easily 1v3-4 teams it's a broken sleeper build.
I genuinely see no videos on chandelure it’s so sad, flamethrower, poltergeist goes crazy and combos well with pretty much anything. Especially since Delphox is pretty strong rn. You just gotta know how to position and you decimate.
Honestly, I really enjoy Shadow Sneak Sableye. Knock Off is really the interaction you're looking for but just being able to control when you enter stealth mode is huge, and all the fear procs are really nice

It does have the disadvantage of don't having the same outplay potential with the advantage to be easier to eliminate targets.

with how prominent volt tackle is most people forget mage pikachu is still a ranged damage demon
If you don't play volt it feels like you do less dmg but playing volt is does feel more dangerous since you engage the enemy
