Hi Matt, we meet at the flipcon last year, I was one of the two Canadian. The spots you see on the camera lens it’s mold and it’s something photographer avoids at all costs because because it could spread on your other piece of equipment. I use to work in a camera shop. The only brand it work to sell in that condition whit a discloser and kept in a seal bag is Leica… other brands no worthy to keep.
You shouldn’t be weary about turning on international postage for heavy items just make sure you put the right weight in your listing & it will calculate the correct shipping cost. I recently sent a heavy $40 DVD set to Greece & they paid $72 in postage.
@@thecull100 if you go into the International postage section on your listings & select Australia Post International Standard Shipping it will calculate the correct price to International buyers. Just make sure you set the correct weight for when the item is packed.
I'd bulk update the price of all shoes, I find this converts to sales, even if it's 1% or 10%-20% for stagnant inventory, it's quick, easy and always pushes more sales
@@TheAussieFlipper Got a few things to sort out first, but highly likely i'll be booking a call with you for some more advice soon to get this ball rolling :)
What has been your absolute best haul? The cameras may be a contender. For me I got a bunch of tv shows all worth up to $6 - 7k. The guy only asked for $60. I gave him $100, coz he massively undersold it. Was a collection from an elderly gentleman. Lots of great shows like Bergerac and Vera and BBC crime shows.
Just for all your viewers etc it's the flea market which is on the sunday at the Carrara markets car park, I went last Saturday to the markets all the way from the sunshine coast and was very disappointed that there was no flea market just rubbish in the permanent market booths etc. 4hrs and wish I called Carrara markets before driving 😢
You should definitely sell plush again. I sold a Koopa Troopa Plush on eBay as a private seller for $20 7 days after that price was changed from $27. It was originally priced at $30. I just wanted that sale that badly.
I would truly appreciate it if you could give us some more details about international shipping, I've only been selling on eBay for a couple of months it makes me nervous to include it. I thought I heard you say in another video that you can exclude some countries why/how? 🙏 Thank you for all the content 👌
To keep international shipping stress-free, always picture the item your are shipping in its box. Don’t forget the bubble wrap layer aswell. In the listing enter the dimensions and weight of the overall package (item, bubble wrap, packaging box). And click calculated shipping
When you find shoes to flip on ebay and you got the box aswell, do you mail them in that box or is it cheaper/better to put them in a satchel for shipping? Love your content by the way.
I keep my store now under 900 items and only buy stuff that makes me minimum of 80 profit I've only been listing 10 to 15 items a week and been selling 30+ a week but run 10% discount foe as long as I can n paying for a max store sub u can put promotions on all the time it helps heaps
@7:44 that is Steve Urkel from the sitcom Family Matters definitely not Kanye 😂
Spot on

nice
Do you mean eBay calculate the postage for you if you have the weight? Or can you work out international shipping costs on the Australia Post website?

@@thecull100 also if it’s an expensive item, I put it in the next weight bracket up to allow for the extra cost of signature & insurance

lessons learned
Some great finds, especially with making the private pick connections. Why dont you buy a wheely cart or bag to take to the markets, so handy.
I should!
