for those wondering if Paul ever did backing vocals on any albums: **YES!!** on MFKR he does a whole lot, even singing on some songs. in terms of more officially released albums, he does a little bit on all the first 4. if you can pick his voice out from Chris and Shawn you can hear him; very nasally and almost like a pitched down pig squeal. they can be hard to hear but he's still there!! if you wanna hear the best if his vocals, i recommend listening to "Fur Covered in Blood" and "Do Nothing/Bitchslap" from MFKR. he sings/moans like Chino Moreno in the beginning of "Fur Covered in Blood" and then screams with Anders, and in "Do Nothing/Bitchslap" he does some very high pitched backing vocals during the second verse which is something you won't hear anywhere else. his vocals and how hidden they are amongst the 4 albums Paulie made kinda symbolizes how he treated himself in the band as a whole. despite being a founding member, he did everything he could to take as little credit as possible and gave it to his bandmates. his vocals going unnoticed just like the amount of credit he took for himself in the band. Paul was notorious for not caring about how Slipknot benefited him; as long as he got to make people happy with his work and spend time doing what he loved with his brothers, he was content. the money, the fame, all that was just extra crap that didn't mean anything to him. Joey was the same way. we really lost a very special man. 2 special men with Joey being gone almost 3 years now. i miss them so much. i'm so grateful their energy is immortalized through the hours of music they've created for us. rest easy boys ♥️
Paul screaming in Scissors is a piece of art
That was fucking amazing!
Yeah, I was impressed when I knew he has the sickest screams on that song
Wish we could have heard more of his vocals
RIP 🙏🏻 PAUL DEDRICK GRAY 😢GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN ❤️ ♥️
His mic mix wasn’t as strong as Chris or Shawn but when you got to hear him albeit by listening closely, it was definitely noticeable
You pretty much did… watch live in London 02 Chris walks up to him so he can back vocals at moments
He made a part 2 of this so there's still more
0:52 I love how he just grabs the mic and screams
If you want to hear paul gray vocals, search by rock am ring 2005. Shawn wasn't at the show and chris mic isn't prominent in the mix
@Awesomerollercoasters almost all setlist
A fucking legend. The most underrated member imo. And the dude that inspired me to play bass. Thanks for eveything Paul. May you rest in peace.

Slipknot = Paul gray and Joey jordison they were the main song writers

One of the best lefty bassists ever
Not as good as Dominic Forest Lapointe tho

So... Slipknot has 3 drummers, 2 guitarists, 1 bassist, 4 VOCALISTS.. And Sid:^) (Who is second newbie with Eloy?)
And yea, RIP to Joey and Paul, they will be legends forever
The second newbie is Jeff, he is a sampler and is replacing Craig
