37:10 Thanks for mentioning this! I think this would be nice thing to use when you have a route and also want to know the elevation changes along this route. I did a some kind of UAV tracker including video player widget and polyline layer. Implemented a rubberband tracking point that goes simultaneously with video slider position. The live elevation profile feature is very, very cool stuff and I think it's 'engine' can also be used in various tasks! Thank you for making it!
In terms of temporal use of the elevation charts - one could create several temporal layers and create several charts that are then exported and used to create an animation in GIMP or Blender.
We have 3.30 qgis version now with Elevation Profile in Print Layout. But how I can choose a DEM and a line layer from the qgis main window to obtain the Elevation Profile in Print Layout?
@@NyallDawson is it possible to save output in dxf format, because in the documentation its shown that output can be saved as dxf file, but I haven't found any button.. docs.qgis.org/3.34/en/docs/user_manual/map_views/elevation_profile.html
Thank you for the amazing session. Awesome stuff. Just what I was looking for, been trying to explore point cloud data from photogrammetry in QGIS.

Great to see how easy it is to create a profile and style it!
This is really great, thanks for this! Nicely done.

Nice addition to QGIS, is there an option to export it in svg format in the near future?
Fantastic work Nyall. Is it possible to control the vertical scale. For instance 1:1 scale as an override.
Not yet - hopefully for 3.28 🤞
Can we add and label waypoints falling on the route on the profile graph ?

Thanks for the video. HOw to save pdf in a scale?
EPSG: 28356 -> South East Queensland
How can I change the horizontal scale for example from kilometers to miles?
Thanks for the video! Is there anyway to provide a legend in the plot export?
Not yet -- you should file a feature request 👍
Great work! I have some problem to get elevation data in table view and export it, is it possible?
That's not supported in 3.26 -- hopefully in a future version 👍
@@NyallDawson Awesome - this will be key to me adopting this new Profile Tool. It's looking great so far though.
can we print this elevation profile ?
You can export the plot to pdf (or svg, PNG, etc), and print from those 👍
Thank you @@NyallDawson
