Can you provide a link to some official Adobe statement regarding the possibility of creating multiple accounts? I'm considering uploading AI content only to one account created specifically for this purpose... but so far I've been convinced that I can't create another one
Hi... check out this page... helpx.adobe.com/stock/contributor/help/submission-guidelines.html It says: You may create more than one contributor account if you wish to track different asset types in separate accounts, e.g., video submissions versus image submissions, or generative AI submissions versus traditional photos or illustrations. Also, if your account gets close to an online portfolio of 1 million assets, we recommend to open a new account. We don’t permit multiple account creations to submit similar or identical content to inflate sales, or to bypass upload limits for generative AI content.
Hi, thanks for the comment and question. Yes, every contributor has an upload limit. It is based on a number of factors, including I believe your overall experience with Adobe Stock including your time as a contributor and performance of your assets. You could have a limit as low as 50 or as high as 5000 or a few thousand, according to some comments I have seen. And Adobe adjusts them as the queue for reviews ebbs and flows. Best of luck!
Hello! First I want to congratulate you for all the info shared on this great channel 👏🏻 I'm starting out at Adobe making photorealistic AI images and I want to know whether to make another account for "abstract, nature, tech", like you showed in a previous video, or mix everything in the same one.
Hi there. I don't recommend creating multiple accounts. Adobe has said they allow it if you want to separate your main types of submissions, like AI vs photography, or if your portfolio reaches something like a million images. But there is more to be gained from keeping it all together, as opposed to having multiple portfolios. Unless your biggest concern is a ban on one account which would leave you with another still open.
Hi again, and I hope you are doing well with your AI images. I recently put a free course on Udemy that I thought you might find helpful. www.udemy.com/course/sell-stock-photography-footage-ai-images-beginner-course I'd love to hear your feedback, and if you do find it helpful, it would be wonderful if you could provide a rating on Udemy. Thanks, and as always, best of luck!
Hi. I do have some videos that show the revenue breakdown but the leader these days is Adobe by a mile. As for Freepik I've done more investigating and it doesn't look like something worth my time. My first images uploaded as a test have earned a few bucks. Not promising.
Hi, I have two adobe accounts, one for photos and other (new with different name and email) for ai content (Photos). I linked the new email to my paypal account. So now I want to set up the adobe account to receive payments. May I have some issue or its all ok ??
Hi, the number of images of any type that can be in your review queue depends on the individual maximum Adobe has set for your account. It can be as low as 50 or over 1,000. You will know when you reach your limit when the system won't take any more submissions for review. I'm not aware of another way to learn the total, aside from writing to Adobe contributor support. Best of luck!
Thank you so much, I uploaded more 500 files. but I couldn't submit more than 500 files. I think it varies to Adobe stock profiles' total asset and for their downloads@@MicrostockLife
Hey, great video! Do you think Adobe Stock will remain profitable over the next few years? Will the value of this business decrease due to the proliferation of AI? I work on Adobe Stock creating AI images, and I'm wondering if it's worth investing time in it for the future.
I'd say Adobe Stock is the agency in the best position for growth in the future. Most (all?) other agencies seem to be on the decline but I've seen nice growth in my earnings there the last few years. As a company, they seem to be doing everything right -- moving their programs to a SAAS model with subscriptions, being on the forefront of AI, etc. I'm no financial adviser, so don't make decisions based on my opinions, but I like where Adobe seems to be headed.
Hello, thanks for following and for watching. All the main agencies accepting video will accept files without sound. I would suggest Adobe Stock, Shutterstock and maybe Storyblocks. Best of luck!
I see a lot of people renaming the files before they upload it to Adobe Stock. Some say that sometimes a long file name causing problems uploading the files. I wanted to ask you do you change the names of your files? And does it have an effect on the algorithm?
I have not heard of this being an issue, and I've never encountered it myself. My titles tend to be between 60 and 100 characters, so maybe that's under the point people say they encounter a problem? Best of luck to you!
Really interesting and helpful video! I wanted to ask about the free collection. How often does adobe offer this offer? I know you get a message that they are interested in some of your assests, but how often does a message like this appears?
Hi, for photos it is typically once (or sometimes twice) per year. If you do any vectors, you have a chance to nominate assets for the free collection now. In October, 2023 Adobe is inviting contributors to nominate vectors and illustrations in the Contributor portal. A banner in the portal will show the eligible assets that can be nominated for the free collection, similar to the process for photos in June, 2023.

a big thanks for all the knowledge you're sharing. its truly inspiring. I've got around 2,500 images on Adobe Stock, and when I shoot, I often take about 10 photos of the same subject. Do you think it's better to upload all 10 together, or is it smarter to start with 1 or 2 and then gradually add the rest later? wondering if this strategy might help me sell more of those photos. thanks.
Thank you for watching and for the questions. Are your ten photos of the same subject different enough to warrant uploading them all? If not, you may risk them being rejected for being too similar. If they are accepted, you could still be harming your potential sales. They will cannibalize each other, reducing the chance that one will receive many downloads and rise in the 'most popular' or 'most downloaded' algorithm that serves it higher in search results. I would pick the very best ones from the group, with enough differences to make them unique in the buyer's eyes. If you do decide to upload them all, I would not submit them together, as I think it would increase the odds of rejections for being too similar. Still, the agencies' algorithms could match them against similar images in your portfolio uploaded earlier and end up rejecting them. Best of luck to you!
@@MicrostockLife Thank you so much for your detailed answer! It makes a lot of sense, and I really appreciate. I'll definitely focus on selecting the best ones and ensuring they're unique. Nice idea with the the q&a video format :) thx for that. I'm wondering what the deal is with Adobe banning accounts so often lately, because on the 2 Facebook groups dedicated to Adobe stock there are also posts every now and then from pissed off banned people who claim they did nothing wrong and their account was banned because of "iiregular sales" whatever that means. Do you have an opportunity to explore this topic more or can you ask Mat Hayward directly about this?

Making me think maybe I should try to do an interview with him... hmmm... (will give you credit if it happens!)
Hi, everyone has individual limits on how many files can be in the review queue at a time. It sounds like your limit is 51, so you will have to wait and see if they raise your limit as time goes on. It is based on your experience as a contributor with Adobe. I think newer contributors have lower limits. Best of luck to you!
I'm really impatient with your video discussing issue validation or banning, because I'm one of the victims of high irregular sales, my account is still safe at the moment but I still don't have the courage to payout? because usually there will be a validation issue, do you have any suggestions for me?
Hi, thanks for the question. I'm not an Adobe employee, so I don't have all the answers on their processes, and can't predict how they will react to your payout request. I can only suggest that you reach out to their contributor support email address (contributor-support@adobe.com) and ask their advice. If you've done nothing wrong, hopefully you can convince them that all your sales are legitimate and there should be no problem with your payout request. Best of luck!
