QiXi | 2016 Solo Between the Bridges | X-Yachts X-37

Since some years back a single handed race around the Tjörn island north of Göteborg in Sweden is held. We just meet at the Tjörn bridge and the start is 10.00 GPS time and the finish is at the Skåpesund bridge about 30NM later. Each sailor report their own time via SMS and by using the Swedish SRS handicap system the results are calculated. No race staff, no ridiculous physical prices, very little administration and great friendship.
This was my first race and the best sailing for me 2016!

Best way to deal with knob heads in motorboats who pass that close: ignore them and deny them the attention they crave. Nice boat, I'm looking for an X 34.
