It took me FOREVER to get this glitch down. I'm on PS5 and almost gave up because of its difficulty. It literally took me DAYS to be able to do it consistently. Fortunately, I have the DualSense Edge controller, which I found made it significantly easier once I reconfigured the button layout just for this glitch. I've only had to use it once in PvP against a gamer I invaded who was hiding AFK in an inaccessible area with Taunter's Tongue and Blue Cipher Ring activated, and it worked like a charm. I'm so happy I didn't give up. It'd've taken me wayyyy too long to beat Malenia on my RL40 invasion build without this glitch. It's definitely worth learning, so DON'T GIVE UP.

What was the part you were struggling with? I feel like I'm too slow once I get the weapon menu open. I feel like a real dunce because I've even slowed this video down but I still aren't sure if I'm even doing it right smh
@@stefanjackson1127 That's the part I struggled most with, too. It was a real road block for me, since I was just too slow at first, but eventually I became quick enough to do it consistently. It just took time.
I still don't have it, I'm about ready to pull my hair out. Where did you put the serpent hunter in your inventory? I've seen some videos have it above so holding L2 auto positions the selection to it, but I've seen it positioned to the side and people seem to press the direction button towards it. I'm hopeless with this one. I felt good after I got Godkin Noble skip and Renna's Rise skip but this has humbled me
Does this still work in patch 1.10?
Btw if you use the gravitas with any weapon with black flame tornado, you can run while casting the AoW!

@@lukaogadze5071 yeah probably died off back in 1.09, you used to be able to cast it again and lock other players in an endless loop. Was gonna snipe JeeNine but he would just block me and I don’t need that yet
my character just stands still after swapping to shunter.
I've been trying for a few hours on Playstation 5 and I can't get it. I manage to get in to do the swap but I feel like maybe I take too long to swap once I'm in the menu. I aren't totally sure that's where I'm failing though. I just want to be able to do it for my RL1 playthrough
So to tumble buff dragon halberd to say a lightning zweihander the button controls are the same? Block, back step, hold weapon skill, start, jump button 3 times and start again?
this helped me doin the glitch on keyboard by simply changine the ash of war button from ctrl to c nd the block button to z

I’ve been trying and trying with the arrows and almost never got it. Like this it took me 5 minutes! Mostly to get used to the new button combination.

When the chainsaw animation starts, release L2 and press L2 again, then hold.

@@celinecucinelli8208 I was having the same issue for hours, I have since been able to have it work ~10% of the time. I find that adjusting the timing between back stepping and then inputting L2 has been most helpful. Good luck
@@celinecucinelli8208 then you’re pressing option before L2 or pressing L2 too early. There needs to be a small pause between circle and L2.
Try pressing L2 when you see your character jump backwards. That timing is relevant. The rest just needs to be fast.
And if it’s too unforgiving try going light load. You have more time then. But the pause between circle and L2 also needs to be slightly bigger in my experience
I always stuck at menu where the flail L2 is starting and I’m unable to swap to shunter despite clicking A (Xbox) while the shunter is selected, any one could give me a tip?

It’s there in case the chainsaw is improperly executed so that the shunter ash of war is canceled by a shield parry
No, it is not required, but because the Shunter AoW takes so long, the shield parry helps if you mess up. It'll save you a lot of time if you aren't consistent.

I'mSo I'm guessing either there's a patch coming very soon so you figure wth or your trying to have the game explode into chaos and force a patch to stop chainsaw. Personally I love it and it has it's place. I hope it stays forever

The only thing im confused about is what hell is so wrong with ganking? The invader 100% of the time invades with op setups and is completely aware that its 1v2 or 1v3 but if the 3 or 2 are wanting the fight and also have op builds than its bad. Wtf lmfao people heads are so big 😭
nothing wrong with ganking, can be a fun experience. Can also be a miserable experience if the gankers are there to exploit the complete lack of balance in the game
How to do it on xbox controller
Swap R1/L1 for right and left trigger, R2/L2 for right and left bumper. Then install critical thinking to your neuralink.
