I am so picky with my BMF that I will scribe everything on the plastic before I even add paint. It´s so nice and easy to find a nice channel to follow when you are ready to BMF after paint and clear is applied. Good tips my friend!!!
Just watched fundamental Fridays at 2:00am whilst in the emergency room at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix AZ waiting for open heart surgery to repair a bad valve. Thanks for taking my mind off of the serious stuff if only for a little while. 👍🏻
I use Brasso or any metal polish, apply to foil , make my cuts then polish the foil! This makes it so much easier to see were I’m cutting, cuts down on the glare ! F Y I ! Try it you’ll like it!
Good afternoon Old Man, I notice at some shows that the guys who build drag cars. Nascar's, that some remove the bodies so the judges can get a better look at the interior and some guys don't, do the ones that take their bodies off get scored higher? Thanx!
Don, I love your videos. I want to start airbrushing my models. What type of compressor do you recommend. I only have room for a small compressor. Thanks for all the info that you provide for all of us.
I made a paint order error. I sprayed fluorescent red (Tamiya TS-36) on a body and need the nose of the car to be white. What’s the best way to get it the right color with out bleeding through?
I find the bare metal foil leaves a little residue behind on the paint. What do you to get that off? I've rubbed it with a q-tip but I'm afraid of hurting the clear coat.

I remember BMF from like the late 80’s early that was super thin and you applied it with water down Elmer’s glue. Or am i remembering it wrong.

One quick question…. Please reveal the best way to tint glass. What do you use? The windshields of the past used graduated tints.
I wish my clumsy hands (brought on by a neurological condition) would let me use bare metal foil... 😕
Amazing builds, wow! I’m getting back into the hobby. Would I clear over the BMF or does it go on after clear? Thanks in advance.
