I saw the primer video. I like the widebody one a lot. I like the fortune cookie saying at the end. Had to write it down to try to remember it. Thanks for sharing
Fortune cookie was the phrase I couldn't remember.🤣. But it's a good one 👍. If you can't laugh at the shot that happens,it'll destroy. The primer problem really pissed me off.but what can you do laugh or cry. Then start sanding it down. Luckily, it doesn't happen often🤣🤔😭
Thanks Robert👍😃. Luckily it's not often and I may have had the only duff can😧. The widebody is going quite well👍😎. Thanks for watching and best wishes from jolly old England 👍😎Pete 🤓
👍😎cool👍. Actually,it's more that I haven't cut them out yet😉. While I'm doing a lot of sanding,I want to keep the body braced as much as possible. I'll cut the windows and wheel arches nearer the end👍🤔
I never know whats going to happen when i start these,Seamy. They evolve and take over😲🤣. I thought the Chinese quote the best way of looking at it all 🤣. The funny thing with these Cobra builds is that it's all a mistake...I was going to build a Cougar, but picked up the wrong box🤣then got chatting with Trevor and all this happened🤣🤣
The Cobras are looking good. I will have to get back to mine and finish them off soon. That sucks about the primer paint. Nothing more fun than having paint "Go Crazy" and make you strip it or sand it down. I just hope it won't cause further problems when you go to paint real paint on the top of it.
So do I, I'll let it sit for a week. I'm trying to get various builds sprayed while I've got some decent weather👍😀. I'll go back to building when it rains again😭
@@petesmodelcarcustoms584 Grab that good weather while you can. Winter approaches...and here in Alberta, we only get 2 seasons - sun and snow. Sadly, snow seems to be 3/4 of the year.
@@petesmodelcarcustoms584 The structure is built and the roof is on and it doesn't leak. I have 1/2 of it with the siding on. Still have to finish the other half of the siding and it is done! The inside needs shelving though. everything is boxes pilled on top of one another in there.

Yes and no,or no and yes. I enjoy bodywork and rarely have major problems. It sucks but hey ho,.the time doesn't worry me really, not much in financial expense either. 🤔👍😎If I was working in a larger scale, the primer would make a great leather effect🤣
The front end looks as good if not better than I thought it would Pete! Very cool! Awesome work with the fenders! 😎👍
Thanks👍😀they were harder than it sounds🤔
The cobra is looking very good. I love the grill and headlight, too.

All in all Peter your a body work magician!...it does suck to have to redo things man do I know how that feels... but you"ll get it I'm sure of it.
It was a bit of a pain but I've always enjoyed this sort of thing 😃
