Glad to hear things are going well, have a great time in Florida and get some good hits with those new eyes. Your videos are great and can’t wait for the next.
I had the pleasure of meeting Greg Hutchings at a model club in Oahu. I told him about what you keep telling us about sanding car bodies all the way to 12000. He completely agreed. Just shouting out to you sir.
Interesting… never heard of using a hairdryer for BMF guess that helps melt the glue? Never heard of cutting it at 45 degrees either. After finding every sheet of BMF I bought had hairline cracks however carefully I stored it (in sealed bags, inside large books etc) I pretty much gave up on the stuff.
The new BMF is vastly improved over that thick stuff they were putting out. I tend to burnish, cut, burnish again, peel excess, and burnish again. Sometimes just cutting it causes it to lift slightly. Glad to hear eyes went well.
Amazing man I watched every video pure genius 👏 much respect rip Don u were a bad mf in the model 🌎 world ill never forget u

Bare Metal Foil used to sell a bottle of glue for their foils if there foils were not sticky enough. Don't know if they still sell it anymore or not.
I just bought two new sheets of bare metal foil and it's so sticky I had to wet sand the residue off

Duuuude!! What does “barnish” mean? Thanks bro!! Be cool
it's--------- Burnish-----------
@@crazypainter56 okayyyyy….so now that i can spell it correctly there Dumbeldor what does it mean?
Burnishing is when you rub over it with something soft to get it stuck down. Like a transfer sticker. Then cut your overhang or extra along the edges.
@@tracymccormick7792 you rub it down with a Q-tip or toothpick-to get it tight and smooth against the chrome trim-
