  • Thanks for tuning in today!
We have a new video posted on the "L.F. Harris" Triumph 5-Speed Gear Clusters that we are now offering - although not "really" new to the market, they are indeed new to us
In fact, most people still don't know that new 5-speed gear clusters are available
Each gear cluster assembly comes with a new mainshaft, layshaft, gears, bushings, shift forks, tab washers, etc - all freshly machined...
We stock both 5-speed gear clusters for twins as well as triples
    Enjoy the video...

Interesting, what improvements have been made over stock 5 speeds? One other question, do you include instructions or template to correctly locate the shift plate detention?

@@1924ab No improvements, the later variation of the five speed typically didn’t have any issues. So theoretically it is a direct replacement - Refer to your workshop manual for indexing

@@classicbritishspares Not for indexing but for locating the the spring loaded pin to correctly locate the shift plate, my 69 doesn’t have the hole in the bottom of the case.

@@1924ab OK, so you’re referring to something different. A 1969 case should have the hole, it wasn’t until late 1970 to about 1972 when they use leaf springs. To answer your question no, you will have to have a machinist to do that and locate where the hole should be
