You produce some of the best documentary content on TH-cam. In fact you'd be able to run these as a documentary series on television platforms and be successful, bravo.
I joined BankOne in 2000, right out of graduation school and worked there through EoY 2012. During that time, I took on assignments based in London, working across the EU, Baltics and Nordics, based in Hong Kong, working in Beijing and based in Ankara, working in Riyadh SA. I left the firm only b/c my little babies were becoming little people and I did not become a husband and father, to miss out on participating in the lives of my family. That said, it was a wild ride - be it the merger and integration btwn BankOne and JPMC, working with banking regulators in the EU during the 2006-2008 financial crisis, or working in new markets and/or developing new products and systems, it was indeed a period where you could be put into situation where there was no playbook, there was no support network and where you always had much less than perfect information to work with. Learned more in those 12 yrs than I have in any aspect of +20 yrs of formal education and another 18 yrs of senior management leadership experience. I was fortunate to be exposed to great minds/intellects, including JD, the EVPs that reported to him on the executive committee and who ran the various LOBs, as well as superb operating executives that challenged you, schooled you, but also had your back, exemplifying the leadership and talent development approach that I have similarly adopted. No one is perfect, but being blunt, speaking your truth, being transparent, holding people accountable for their actions and behaviors, realizing efforts are not the same as results and treating people fairly, are effective leadership principles, IMHO.
Thank you for sharing. I'd also be curious to hear where you pivoted to from banking. I've got a B.Comm. but have spent the last 15 years working as a software/systems engineer. I'm now at a crossroads in my career where I'm craving more responsibility, greater autonomy and an opportunity to make an organizational impact and affect real change. Unfortunately, my leadership consists of career engineers, not business leaders, so all my initiative falls on deaf ears. I'm considering going back to school for an MBA, but am not sure whether the opportunity cost would be too great. At 40 with two little kids at home, I'd be able to quit my job, pay for the MBA at a top European school and pay myself the equivalent of what I make now for a year. However upon graduation, chances are I'd be making less than what I make now as an engineer, not to mention the prospect of potentially graduating during a recession. That's my predicament.

Its quiet interesting how we reject the reality of our situation and expect to be able to observe it, control it and even change it. I used to be financially depressed until I read a book that made me realized that the secret to making a million is making better investments.
Financial depression is a type of depression that is a severe drop in GDP: It is characterized by massive job losses, widespread bankruptcies, and simply not knowing what to invest in with your money
Indeed, The quickest way to make your first millions is to invest directly with an expert that is trustworthy and has made a name and individual billionaires.. I'm surprised you know her too
Remarkable production showing the evolution of a financial icon. It also displays the character flaws of entitlement, greed, insatiable lust for control of power, betrayal and usury. The ancient inventors of money lending would be very proud and impressed.
Very impressive. The 2008 recession claimed the jobs of many CEOs on Wall Street, but Jamie Dimon is the sole survivor among them. That reason can be estimated through this video, I think.
If you remember the 2008 Financial Crisis, Dimon was one of those Bankers who were bailed out with tax payer $$ and still paid themselves huge bonuses while the ordinary people of America suffered.
@@lyl3645 you say the bank didn't need the bailout money...they did need the money that's why they took it. They are criminals and should be put in jail.
As an industry pro of 20 years, can we request an episode on Blackrock's Larry Fink or Hansborg Wyss of Arabella Advisors? These have far more power on finance, investments, corporate America, etc now. What about ESG? It is tied to Dimon. Love the channel. Speak truth and people will follow.
It's quite simple why rates are climbing with rising imports and falling exports, the FED is obviously to be blamed for banking crisis. Something will eventually break if they keep the quantitative tightening and higher interest rates. Is this really a good time to have some savings in stocks?

Thank you for this biopic. I wrote many notes, I didn’t know who this guy is.

You gotta admire the guy! Just super smart, lot of common sense (which doesn’t exist much today), high integrity, and most important, understands finance/banking!
All these small documentaries are So well put together. Great work guys 🤝
In love with this youtube channel nowadays, absolutely top-notch and informative content.
Brother this was great. I read the book House of Dimon, which was a great read. Dimon is a brilliant mind.
Amazing documentary as always.Your finance documentaries never disappoint.Your way of story telling gets the viewer instantly hooked.Keep it up 👍.

Thanks so much I was able to find her page and I already leave her a message...
Indeed, The quickest way to make your first millions is to invest directly with an expert that is trustworthy and has made a name and individual billionaires.. I'm surprised you know her too
No kidding?
May you kindly provide the book that you read ?
14:10 the best part. Loved this video.
Remarkable production showing the evolution of a financial icon. It also displays the character flaws of entitlement, greed, insatiable lust for control of power, betrayal and usury. The ancient inventors of money lending would be very proud and impressed.
damn😅
I love people that stay true to their principles
This gives me major "the men who built America" vibes, especially after seeing the Steve Wynn clip
Slick transition to the ad. They should give you a bonus for that one.
This man is so inspiring , a story of true grit and tenacity hats off!!
this must be a bot, paid for by jamie

This is one of the best channel to understand financial market ACE. Love from India to channel
I was thinking I worked at chase I got screwed
Shhhh! quiet you, you’re ruining the propaganda.
Lehman, Dimon... crowds all jewish for some reason, less than 4% of the total population on top
The bank did not need the “bailout”; also, the bank paid back all the “bailout” from the government plus interest.
Je already did a video about black rock
Another great video! Binged your whole channel as soon as i found it. These videos are crack for anyone that trades or loves business lol
Awesome, thank you!
Excellent information of Jamie Dimon Greetings from Peru 🇵🇪
Loved the production on the video, thank you for the content!
Man! this changed my perspective about Jamie Dimon.
Awesome work!
It's quite simple why rates are climbing with rising imports and falling exports, the FED is obviously to be blamed for banking crisis. Something will eventually break if they keep the quantitative tightening and higher interest rates. Is this really a good time to have some savings in stocks?
first austerity, then brexit, now widespread bank failures. .always do your own research & speak to a license advisor before thinking about putting your money into these crazy markets
Exactly, most youtubers said the market would be fine few months back, but it's been a major downturn. Luckily, since the rona-outbreak in 2020, I've avoided the drawback of trial and error by simply following professional guidance. I'm semi-retd and work only 7.5 hours weekly, with nearly $1m ROI after subsequent investments to date.
this is incredible! how can I vet your advisor, mind sharing info, if you please?
SHARON LEE PEOPLES is the licensed fiduciary I use. Just research the name. You’d find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment..
Thanks for sharing, I just looked her up on the web and I would say she really has an impressive background in investing. I will write her an e-mail shortly.
Excellent documentary 🙏🏿 Really made his story come to life for me

First video I’ve seen with intelligent use of AI! You are a trailblazer!
Thanks 🙏
The editing on this is phenomenal!
This guy is definitely going to run for something after he leaves JP Morgan.
Jamie Dimon future fed chairman 😍😍
he needs to cash out his assets tax free, so it makes sense to run for some type of advisor or government position.
og comment from Economic Club Interview
Bro, he is already running things. Quite possibly the most powerful man in the US.
@@texasRoofDoctor can you elaborate
Fantastic video but one comment - I think the AI got Jamie Dimon confused with Richard Gere 😂😂
Top notch storytelling and production. And the way you advertised your sponsor was genius. Great work and congratulations on your future deal with Netflix or other big production company. Just don't let them interfere with your product.
Thanks a ton!
This vid sucks. Great job shilling and bootlicking!
Your channel is better than Netflix. What a great episode!
