When Pedro was in his prime the opposition was basically helpless.

Three Cy Young Awards in four years...Twice under a 2.00 ERA in the 'roid era...You could count on him to win four out of every five games in his prime. He averaged ten K's a game in one year, and was just short of doing the same in the following year.

Pedro games at Fenway were always amazing, but those Pedro vs. yankees at Fenway games were just on another level.

Pedro, filthy. I remember when he was just a reliever for the Dodgers, they practically gave up on him. That 1997 season with the Expos, 1999 and 2000 season with the Red Sox were some of the best baseball I have ever seen. During this time, only one other pitcher really strikes that much fear, that was Randy Johnson. I have to give credit to DeGrom. His stuff is electric. Just like those two. But what separates Pedro and Randy, they were work horses. Not to say DeGrom isn’t, he is for the current times. But Randy pitched 270 innings one year. Which is so unheard of now. Guys barely go 200 innings and are considered workhorses.

Pedro dominated in the steroid era and when the Yankees had the greatest line up.

He would be dominant in the 'amphantamine (greenie) era' too.

Some people say they hate Pedro because he was too cocky. I really like how focused he was when playing, miding his own business.

I am a Boston fan and didn't like how he would stare down the batters after striking them out. Just asking for retaliation.
