HI! I have an ASUS X552L laptop. I tried to install a Kingston ASU1603LS1KBG/4G (4Gb DDR3L 1600MHz) but the laptop turns on the right light (lock A) and does not start. Do you know why?
@Got myself some trouble ddr3l has low voltage normal ddr3 is 1.50v but the other one(ddr3l) is 1.35v. If you have this laptop. You should use the low voltage one (1.35v) bcz other one not works on this laptop serie(asusx)
In my case, the soldered ram inside the motherboard of my X552e was 4GB DDR3L. I've upgraded to an extra 8GB and it works like a charm. Right now, I'm wondering if it's possible to upgrade the TFT screen to an IPS one. 😁😁😁
@@morarsergiu6178 last time I upgraded to 10GB RAM (2GB + 8GB) and I can actually run The Witcher 3 with no problem. Just make sure to set performance to maximum. Not sure if can be upgraded until 16GB
